I only saw the last half of the fight, but from what I saw Smoger did what he had to to control a very dirty fighter. No complaints from me about Smoger.

rabbit punches, low blows...I mean, did dude really try to hit Hop while hop was sitting on the canvas, and whats with all the times he turned his back? should have been dq'ed for managing to make Hopkins look like a boy scout in there.

Hopkins was quite entertaining. It was strange to see him fight that way but it was awesome watching a 48 year old man beatdown a much younger man in a alley fight lol

I didn't watch the fight live -- I fell asleep because of my time zone...
I've watched the replay... I was impressed by Hopkins' jab speed and defense in the championship rounds... Honestly. Grandpa was not only alive, but he was also coolheaded and and sharp... This is great even for shadow boxing for 12 rounds and this age...

Most exciting Bhop has had in a while..can't deny this man his place amongst the greatest of all time..at 48...just crazy.

I'm a big BHop fan, but I really find it hard to watch his fights too these days. Not sure how anyone can honestly say that that was his most exciting fight in ten years. It's amazing that Bernard can get in the ring and fight young guys for 12 rounds, but he has definitely fallen off huge from what he used to be. Prior to last night, I was actually buying into the idea that Bernard could possibly outslick Adonis Stevenson, but no way in hell does that happen. Bernard does not have the energy, reflexes, punching power or physical strength to hold off a guy like Stevenson for long. I don't want to see Bernard get KO'd at this age, and that is precisely what'll happen if he gets in there with Stevenson. Five years ago he could've handled him, but not anymore.

Surprised BHop traded with this guy so much. I think in the early rounds when he got caught a few times it may have pissed him off as well as him realizing this guy doesn't have one punch KO power.
Most entertaining BHop fight I have seen since in years.
Guy talks a lot **** but he backs it up. Respect.
