There were negotiations. Unless you were living under a rock, everybody should know that Pacquiao refused random testing and didn't sign the contract for that reason. For him to say he's willing now and it's "for the good of boxing" makes him look bad no matter how you want to spin it. Overlooking that is a pathetic excuse. Anything said through the media is not "agreeing" to anything. Signing a contract is the only thing that matters.

Just to refresh your memory, here is a timeline of events. Before anyone claims "fighthype is biased" these links are not from fighthype. They just posted them.

Over the past two years, there's been a lot of uncertainty amongst fans and media alike regarding the events surrounding the negotiations for the mega-fight between pound-for-pound champions Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. In an effort to clear up the confusion, FightHype.com has put together an in-depth timeline detailing every major milestone that took place. From the moment that Floyd Mayweather came out of retirement to the minute that Manny Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum declared the fight to be off, all of the major events that dominated the headlines are included. Only the facts are included in this definitive timeline. Links to mulitple outside references have been included for each date, so fans can draw their own conclusions as to what went wrong at each step of the way.

So if it's needed on paper to be agreed upon, how did Floyd agree to all of Mannys demands? You know, the talking point you fools salivate over, "Floyd agreed to all of Mannys demands, Manny couldn't even agree to one of Floyd's".

Mighty fine corner you painted yourself into. Have fun leaving footprints as you walk out of it.

So he agreed 4 years ago yet didnt take the tests until now? All champs should be doing it, the face of boxing should definitely have been doing it yet he waited for years. Feel free to give him the pat on the back that you never gave Mayweather even though hes been taking the test for the last few years.
Floyd avoided tests for 39 fights spanning over a decade. why didn't he take it then?

2010- ''Who is Mayweather, let the commission do their job".
2012- Gets knocked out by marquez.
2013- "I'm fine with random drug testing, it's good for boxing".

            Priceless.

It's simple. He agreed by signing the contract which included 50/50, 8 oz gloves, 10 million per pound,... It's that simple if you aren't lacking brain cells.

I'm not "salivating" over anything because it's not that important to me.. Only NSB idiot trolls like you consider this to be a major part of your life. Your avatar speaks for itself.
