So the supposed "biggest name in the sport" refuses more stringent testing, playing a major part in one of thr biggest fights not happening, refuses to take part in it unitil he gets planked by someone his own team implicated (as did Jim Lampley, the oh so objective boxing announcer and journo), but now after four years says he's doing it because it's good for boxing- and you think he should be praised for his hypocrisy? It gets better and better.

Surely the leading question from Pacquiao's statement is: "If it's good for boxing now why wasn't it for the past four years?" Care to speculate?

Yeah we should be praising him NOW! The hypocrisy here is astounding, most rational people wanted that fight to happen at that time. Most people critise the need for "Extra testing" but never thought to themselves (Why would the top fighter in the world say no to it) or (saying yes at first then change that to no)?

At the end of the day Pacquiao ducked the fight, and history would show that. Now that random testing is the norm and people who doesn't comply with it looked suspect, people would ask what the big deal was when Pacquiao ducked the fight over testing.

Can you believe some weasel sent me a red k (you know who you are and I couldn't care less) rather than face valid questions asked with no hate or malice. Pacquiao has totally contradicted himself by talking about what's good for boxing, when he didn't care about that enough when it mattered most or in the years since. Rather than be honest about it, some are trying to spin it, deflect from it or just plain ignore it.

The Testing Fact Should Be Easy to Verify

The argument regarding the drug testing can be settled quickly by any reporter who is worth his/her salt. According to the article : Pacquiao - I'm Fine With Random Testing, It's Good For Boxing" Pacquiao said he was tested twice. Before this article was posted it could/should have been verified. Do the research. If Pacquiao is telling the truth end of story. If he is not telling the truth, he has lost his credibility. Let the truth be known. Oh, and professional reporters, yes even boxing reporters, should follow up on what they hear before posting their articles. We are all accountable.

Until Mayweather and Pacquiao both get with the program and submit to YEAR ROUND testing, both dudes deserve to be labelled as su****ious and potential drug users.

Mayweather is a little more suspect because he brags about working out all year long while Pacquiao is busy with Politics. The chances of Floyd doping during the off season are greater because he's keeping active while Pacquiao gets pudgy pushing pork barrel programs

Then they'd still get caught if they were using anything in between training camps even without year round testing, well, as long as they fight once or twice a year anyway. Can't flush it from your system that fast. Testing during the 2 months of camp before a fight is enough. The PEDs wouldn't have any physically improving effects if not used during training (such as HGH).
