Spoken like someone who has no idea what it is to be punched in the face for a living. Which is the way with the guys that make money off the back of those that do.

to a certain fanbase, boxing skills can only be found in a defensive style...one of the dumbest notions in boxing.

The truth is Prov would one punch KO Floyd and Bhop in a street fight and they know it

Thats why Floyd won't leave the house without at least 3 bodyguards because he knows an average dude can kick his ass in the street. Prov wouldn't back down from anyone.
lmao so now Provod KO's Floyd. Lets see that fight now and see what happens

NSB has just fallen in love with the new flavor of the month. I remember when it was Trout who is now boring and not that good. Like i said though ruslan is a Fun little sc****r but no where near the top boys.
Whoa whoa whoa. Crowning him an ATG? You're going way too far bro. I have been saying for months, even before the Bradley fight that Ruslan is what he is and he's limited for sure. I never expected him to give Bradley a good fight.

He proved me wrong and why do people keep thinking that in order to fight the "top names" you have to be certified ATG and HOF bound? Because I hardly see any top fighters fighting future ATG's at the moment. You really don't think Ruslan would give most guys a run for their money? I'm not even talking about Floyd.

He's a fun little scrapper but are you going to seriously tell me that Bradley and Alvarado are not top 10 fighters in their divisions? Is it that crazy of a thought to think that a non-slick, defensive fighter can make it to the top of a division? He just won a belt, he is no worse of a opponent to Garcia then Judah, no worse of a opponent to Broner then Paulie and no worse of an opponent to Pac then Rios.

The "top guys" would be favorite to win but you don't think he has the slightest bit of a chance after the effort he put up against Bradley? I think it's time to start giving credit where it's due, he successfully cut off the ring against both Bradley and Alvarado, it's not ludicrous to think he can do it again against another/some more high level opponent(s).

Like I said I've always looked at Provodnikov as a limited brawler, but what us as fans think and what's on paper does not overcome what happens in the ring, and him becoming a champion on Saturday puts him in the discussion against anybody, without it being a joke, cherry pick, etc (IMO)

Ok thats you. Most here are already saying he beats garcia, matty, and check hook even said he KO's floyd. Another thread posters were saying he thrashes hatton. Another thread states hes ready for pac.

Yes he is being branded an ATG already. Let him get in the ring with the top boys. I dont think he stands a chance. Will be fun though but thats it.

It's a false dichotomy, you can be a slick fighter and do a lot of damage in the ring and be exciting, you can also be a boring brawler who just comes forward and fights one punch at a time.

Being slick doesn't mean being boring.

IMO rigo is incredibly slick and is not boring at all. His opponents get scared and lose all aggressiveness. We saw that with that fraud nonto. Rigo tries to hurt his opponents for sure, and he doesn't run, he's always close to his opponent.

Bhop on the other hand is not slick. He's just super careful. Staying away from his opponent for entire minutes at a time and throwing 4 punches a round is not fighting.

Call boxing whatever you want, at the end of the day if fans don't feel like there watching a fight it doesn't matter how slick, skilled, or good a boxer is, people won't want to watch.

I pay for their living. I prefer to see a fighter who is obviously much better than his opponent, finish him off instead of cruise to a points victory. if he chooses not to, I choose to spend my money elsewhere. you don't like it, too bad for you.

According to some of your posts you don't buy tix and you stream fights. So you are getting excatly what you pay for.
