CLOWN... the comparison is that they both fight relentless, they both hurt you with either hand, they both have a vicious body attacks, they both come forward with bad intentions, and they both impose their will on you to lay down and quit, or take one helluva beating. That's plenty to say, that they have similar styles. Now if you want to be ****** and say one grows their hair longer than the other, one has a better jab than the other, one has fuller lips than the other... then you're just an idiot.

Theyre both come forward fighters, but Golovkin is like 10x more technical than Ruslan lol

man F**k the people talking about mike running, wtf is wrong with yall mike did the best he could to box and move, then he exchanged with prov when he should of been holding. prov won because he is tough as nails and keeps coming on and mike couldnt handle it but held in there for 10 rounds people disgust me on this site talking about running wanting fighters to just take shots and stand there, mike took hella good pops from prov and stayed in there yet all you can say is "he ran" gtfoh!!! lol

No way, Mike was trying to box, but he couldn't keep Ruslan away, he was adapting, overhand rights, body shots and left hooks from the side were all key success points for Ruslan.

Boxing won't win every fight unless the boxer can adapt, Mike didn't, Ruslan did.

exactly ruslan came to win and earned it, mike did what he could be took heavy shots to the body and eventually that will break anyone down. he couldnt hang on but did for a long time after i thought he was done. props to both fighters glad i had a large group with me watching this they enjoyed every second of it. sucks for mike to lose in his city but ruslan deserves his shine

What I don't get is ¿why ref Tony Weeks didn't want to accept the corner stopping the fight?(they have as much a right to stop it as the ref or the doctor)& had to hear it directly from Alvarado.. Even thou Alvarado was fighting back, but he was getting pummeled & staggered & his shots didn't really have any effects on Provo.. Weeks is a good ref & I thought he was gonna stop the fight & not wait for the corner or the fighter to say so..

I remember reading these boards after the bradley-prov fight and people saying it was a fluke performance (u wanna talk about fluke performance, a weight drained rios losing to a guy he already stopped, that screams fluke performance) top rank got lucky, and a bunch of other random sht...been saying all along Provodnikov is the real deal (and that he's gonna stop alvarado, who isn't the great boxer he magically turned into as soon as pac announced he was fighting rios....oh rios vs provodnikov that would be something special).
