Ruslan's never gonna outbox Bradley, but that doesn't mean he can't KO him. I'd expect Tim to win again but Ruslan would have a decent chance of the upset.

What I don't understand is that when the corner stopped the fight, the ref deliberately ignored the trainer and specifically asked Mike. Never really saw that before.

Well they say "only the referee can stop the fight". Weeks is probably the best ref I've ever seen. He wanted to make SURE Alvarado himself didn't want to continue from his own words as there are trainers that are too quick to throw the towel in.

As much as I like Garcia I don't see him risking the biggest pay day of his career with a possible Mayweather fight hanging in the backround. Just use common sense bro.

Agreed in principal but sadly Bradley does not sell tickets or PPV. FMM vs. DG would far exceed the receipts of a FMM vs TB fight. Unfortunately in the sport of Boxing money swears and the right to fight does not always come into play.

I really love the Boxing Scene posting forum but i really wish people would stop with the name calling and personal insults. It's really not necessary to make a point and in truth most of you mud slingers would never say those things to a persons face. Thats how you get KTFO. I agree that Weeks is by far the best ref in the game. But, I thought that was bull**** what he did last night. The corner was trying to save the kid from having to quit. And Weeks basically forced Alvarado to go to a mental place where no fighter wants to go and something that's very tough mentally to come back from. And to me, it was totally unnecessary.
