      tbh Russian boxing is more about Amateur boxing...

      but i would've expected more than that from then, badtimes.

          So did I. If you have follow Juanma's early career, You'll notice how good of a boxer/puncher the guy really was. He was so patient and most of his punches where set up with his underrated jab. He just fell in love with his power and his ****** ass "Superman" persona. Now I feel bad for the guy. His career after Mtaga has been downhill.

            Yes but better ams should churn out better pro's...no? I think it has more to do with money and population, though those things certainly play a role. Unfortunately im not a sociologist.

              that's true Jab. but in Russia/Ukraine its different way. if you do good in boxing/wrestling, you then join criminals unfortunately. and then eventually government, politics. only very few try to stay away from that stuff and great $, in order to join pro and live "clean" life.

                    Oh definately agree, a lot of has to do with the popularity of the sport in different countries too, hence why football is better in the countries that have more passion for it or why NFL is a predominantly American sport.
