Either Klitschkos would outbox and KO Joe Louis. They are are taller, stronger and much more skilled than 30's and 40's heavyweight boxers. Joe would "eat" jabs.

Joe would most likely slip VKs jabs. Take a look at what Evander Holyfield did to LL and Rid**** Bowe, Now image Joe Louis who was more skilled at slipping punches and had much more pop in his gloves. Now realize that Evander and Joe Louis are the same size.

Nobody in history beats the Wladimir we see today. There's no blueprint for beating him.

The blue print is a Mike Tyson who ducks under the jabs and hits the body; who makes Wladimir back up and work off his back foot.

Or an Ali that slips WKs jabs and lands his own jabs.

Or a George Foreman that might take a few in order to land his own thunder.

Joe Louis' record is for the undisputed and linear championship, not for some of the split titles. I am not knocking Klitschko's run as titlist, only pointing out the difference.

well to start wladimir isn't the real champ. louis beat the linear champ, wlad beat #3 ranked sultan ibragimov. little different! paper champ with zero legitimate defenses.

To add to the above this is the first time in Wlad's reign where he is fighting the clear number two best heavyweight in the division (Haye and Vitali haven't fought in over a year so are unranked).

So this will be Wlads first fight for the true lineal heavyweight championship which Joe Louis defended so many times.

Lol, another know nothing thinking size is the end all of the heavyweight division! Buddy Baer, Abe Simon, Primo Carnera, all destroyed and all around the general size of todays heavyweight. Wlad lost to Brewster who was not much bigger than Louis and not nearly as skilled or powerful. Vits quit against Byrd who was not nearly as skilled and powerful. Big men never gave Louis problems.

Yes, I do honestly think so. I also think they are the greatest HW's ever. It's my opinion. You have yours, I have mine.

I agree that Lewis and prime Tyson would be dangerous for Wlad, btw. But not Ali and Foreman. He would knock them from rope to rope.
