LOL, here you gusy again with the robbery of the CJ-JMM fight.

    http://boxrec.com/media/index.php?title=Fight:1054077

The only western journalist to attend the bout, Scott Mallon of Ring Magazine and The Sweet Science, scored the bout 116-110 in favor of John. His report and those of the Asian journalists in attendance suggested the bout was a just decision.

So, stop calling it a robbery.

I don't know much about him but I've read a few of his interviews. He said about 3 years ago that his fee for fighting at home is a minimum of $500,00, and for abroad a min of $600,000. He said that he would fight anywhere in the world if his fee was right.
And he beat Marquez pretty well as he's a very good boxer.

He's fought a few times in Japan and Australia, also 2 fights against Rocky Juarez in Vegas (I think). He was nearly robbed in the first fight and cleared that all up in the second.

This isn't true. He has fought in Japan, Australia, USA and Singapore.

There is no difference, great champions will fight anywhere. Moreover, John has fought in the US, twice.

As to the Hall of Fame, do you really think an Indonesian cares? The HOF is an American concept which they have it with all their major sports. This isn't replicated overseas.

Seen the fight myself on youtube several times and it was a close fight I thought it could have gone either way but the scores pretty much reflected a fight where the judges were gonna give John the edge everytime there was a close round and it also didn't help that Marquez got penalized points for legal body shots LOL!

Don't believe everything you read. It was a robbery. I've watched the fight several times and John didn't win the fight even with the two point deductions. Even the ref knew John was losing the fight and he was trying to save him by penalizing Marquez. Luckily for John the judges were kind to him. The only thing that made that fight close was the two points that were deducted. To John's credit he made some of the rounds close, I guess the judges awarded him every swing round. Marquez was the one pressing the fight and John was trying to box and counter, but JMM was doing the better work through out the fight

Really how come? Because anyone who wants to fight this guy has to go to Djibouti to fight him while his 2 cousins judge his fights and he is very content to fight bus drivers over there the rest of his life. That's why.

Thanks for the video. I thought Marquez clearly won by a wide margin. He was the aggressor coming forward the whole fight. He landed more punches and better punches in most rounds. Chris John is a good fighter but Marquez is much better. They had John winning the fight by many points. The only possible way Marquez could win that fight was by KO. Even then they probably would have DQed Marquez for punching too hard. It sounded like even the Indonesian crowd started cheering for Marquez as the fight went on.
