and you have the nerve to complain and even mention Manny who hasnt fought a ww period since 2011 and that was mosley coming off of a loss and a draw..hasdnt faced a ww champion since 2009 in cotto
the answer lies somewhere in between.

its questionable to say Floyd hasn't fought anyone challenging but its also questionable to make some of these opponents seem better than they really are.

if these names were so diesel, they could stand on their own....without having to force in a crazy chuck giampa #9 p4p ranking for guerrero, for example.

the guy that gave PAC his hardest time, he fought 4 times

and honestly, dudes like Ward, Mares have fought stiffer challenges than Floyd

To be fair there aren't many if any "challenges" out now. But when there was he did kinda uhm ducktire?

So moving in itself is no indicator of facing a challenge. Thanks for making my point. Maybe wiliknson will get it too.

Your point is not very difficult to get. Consider that people disagree with it as one example doesn't do enough to make nor break a point.

Whatever the reason Floyd didn't fight some guys when the fans were begging for it to happen. Even if he did chances are people would still complain. Admittedly, I tend to root against Floyd because his fight persona is just plain agitating. I know he is the best. I have often thought he could loose (perhaps just wishful thinking) but he is clearly on another level. I have criticized him for n0t fighting who I thought were top guys at the time. Buy why should he really? To please me? Or you? Or fans in general?
I reflect on guys I wished he would have fought but didn't only ends with Floyd on top. Granted this is in retrospect. Margarito, Pacquiao, and Williams are a few that come to mind. Maybe a he is simply building up fights and then the prospects become their own worst enemy. I can't see a scenario where Margarito vs. Mayweather (post cotto I) makes less money that Guerrero vs. Mayweather at the prime moment. Williams vs Mayweather (after win against Marg) easily earns more cash than a fight with Ortiz. And Pac (after he was on a roll)? That seriously would have stomped Canelo's fight dollars. I can't discredit Floyd for fighting Cotto, Mosely, Marquez, Canelo, or DeLaHoya. But, with the exception of Canelo the others had been been soundly by the time they hit Floyd.
As a fan, I want the best to fight the rest. Who is to say Keith Thurman isn't going to give a go? Or Pirog? Or Golovkin? Or Daniel Jacobs? I could be wrong, but I would love to see those guys in with Floyd. Now. From where Floyd sits... he has earned the right to fight he chooses. In the end it doesn't matter. Floyd sits a top the throne. I respectfully apologize for being late to the party in giving Money his due revelry.

thats because he didn't beat JMM clearly, not out of some desire to challenege himself. The 4th fight he took primarily because cotto refused the CW fight and h had no option that paid him more. Manny even said "I have nothing more to prove with JMM".

Hard to give someone credit for that.
