Floyd never waivered from this offer and Pac/Arum never accepted these terms. Instead Pac got KTFO by JMM for less than 1/4 of that, seriously diminishing the value of a Floyd/Pac match.

Yeah, I guess beating Andre Berto is the path to a Mayweather fight.

Guerrero - slow as ****, not even technically great, sloppy fighter
Canelo - lol catchweight for lineal fight. Worst stamina in boxing, only good win is Trout and it was close. He's greener than grass
Ortiz - quitter, was doing best of all vs Floyd and then jk headbutt, jk sucker punch. Only one I see who had a small chance and he got sucker punched LOL..

Lol Mayweather is one hell of a promoter and can sell a fight no doubt and I used to be convinced of his greatness but the guy has been facing shot, or green inexperienced fighters for the last 7 years. Pacquiao's unofficial win against prime Bradley is better than any win on Floyd's resume from the past seven years. now I understand why they call him a cherrypicker look at his resume, full of inexperienced and shot fighters.

I wasnt won over by the promotions for the Canelo fight. I was won over by Floyds performance.

Yes, he chooses his opponents wisely from a business point of view. But i think all fighters who reach the top do the same.

You are never going to choose to fight the guy who has no following and has a style which could be trouble. You choose the guy who is popular and you can whip.

I consider Floyds resume very good, but its his performances that have made him great.

This is true, but is seems that most boxing fans don't think Guerrero is worth ****. Which I don't understand, Guerrero is a workhorse, a warrior and a winner.

Private armies are common in the Philippines, otherwise your entire family could be massacred, I'll take the million dollar cars over needing mercenaries to protect my family. 5 fights at 140 is enough to grow into the division. Devon Alexander, Peterson and Kendall Holt were more impressive than any of the names on Guerrero's resume.

And none of them more impressive than the name Guerrero. Also, Guerrero looked like a full grown welterweight in his first fight in the division. Your argument is beyond weak. Oscar = old and past prime, Cotto = Shopworn and Manny did a better job on him, Mosely = old and shopworn, Marquez was getting beat till he hit Pac with an inch perfect punch that would KO any welterweight.

Weak bro. Oscar was still viable, Cotto didn't look shopworn at all, and Floyd fought him at 154 not 145, Mosley was the guy Pac refused to face because Roach said he was "too good."
