he had three years notice to fight rahman. kept pulling out. so yes he wanted no part of him. lewis was old. rahman wasn't. it was a calculated risk to fight lewis and it didn't pay off. losing to rahman would have exposed him as a complete fraud and second rate fighter so he chose the fantasy route of being great because of his losses.
Okay, you confiremd that you're just a hater at any expense.

1st off, Rahman got brutally stopped by Tua in their 1st meating and got a lucky draw with him the rematch.

Secondly, even with his lucky punch win against Lewis, it was a proven fluke because Lewis one punch knocked him stiff in the immediate rematch.

The notion that Vitali is scared of Rahman is laughable.

Keep being dumb bro, I'm no longer paying attention.

Laughable. He was more an old school supporter as well.

But he beat Lewis and a Vitali didn't. That's what it boils down to.

Lol at you if you would rather be 2-5-1 in title fights as opposed to being the man for Vitali's reign. Vitali is 15-2 in title fights man. 6th best ever.

You're a hating liar if you really think that way.

I don't think Vitali was scared of Rock at all. Injuries happen and back injuries suck.

That said, you shouldn't say things that don't meet the facts to try to prove points. Rahman was not brutally stopped by Tua the first time. He was still on his feet and trying to hang in after being hit clearly after the bell the previous round. It was very controversial at the time.

              Now Maskaev...HE brutally stopped Rahman.

I'd rather have been heavyweight champion of the world an achievement only matched by greats like Muhammed Ali, Rocky Marciano, Joe Louis, Jack Dempsey, Mike Tyson and the rest.

Not achievements on par with Herbie Hide (regular world belt holder and European a Champ).

Fine, I will ask you then to shut your mouth. You can't criticize someone that (in your opinion) can't speak a foreign language as you can only speak one.

Vitali won 4 rounds against Lewis in 6 rounds while Rahman won 2 in 7 and was knocked out cold. I say Vitali did better, aside from the lucky KO punch.

LOL, winning a few rounds but losing after you get your face ripped to shreds is better than knocking out the heavyweight champion.
