he's better because he has a better resume. what's so hard to understand about that? also rahman was the legit champ. vitali wasn't. means a lot more to me than paper belt defenses against bums. he lost more times than vitali? uh so? so did ali. he also fought better competition. he beat a better lewis than the one vitali lost to. he beat a better sanders than the one vitali fought. he beat david tua and vitali has never beaten anyone that good. he beat james toney who was very good at the time. i'll take that resume over sam peter, corrie sanders, adamek, and all the bums.

he had three years notice to fight rahman. kept pulling out. so yes he wanted no part of him. lewis was old. rahman wasn't. it was a calculated risk to fight lewis and it didn't pay off. losing to rahman would have exposed him as a complete fraud and second rate fighter so he chose the fantasy route of being great because of his losses.

I don't think Vitali was scared of Rock at all. Injuries happen and back injuries suck.

That said, you shouldn't say things that don't meet the facts to try to prove points. Rahman was not brutally stopped by Tua the first time. He was still on his feet and trying to hang in after being hit clearly after the bell the previous round. It was very controversial at the time.
