    No he did not. Showed his immaturity but that was about it. Oh yeah, he did get tagged repeatedly in the face by a straight right. At some point you would think he would consider moving his head a bit.

      I don't think he did better than Guerrero in the first 4 rounds and not that much better than Canelo. He wasn't winning any rounds and he was getting the worst of that fight, he had a couple flashes but so did Guerrero.

      Floyd just hadn't totally took control of that fight by the time he knocked Ortiz out, if you stop the Guerrero fight like right when the Ortiz fight got stopped it would have looked like Floyd was not his normal self either.

        Ortiz = zab

        Great potential... complete nutjobs that can't keep it together.

        I thought Ortiz did pretty good too. At least better than what I thought. I honestly feel the cheapshot robbed us a great fight. Floyd should've KO'd the kid the right way.

          Floyd Snr wasn't the head trainer in those fights , when Floyd fights like now he is virtually unbeatable because his greatest asset is you cant hit him and its used to the fullest , he can stand in the pocket in front of a legit World Champion a stone bigger and toy with him , that is sheer brilliance .

            I didn't bother reading it, but the tread title got my attention. Anyhow yeah, Ortiz did do more than both combined. I always saw the Guerrero fight as a joke tune up that should have been free on show time. Clear mismatch anybody who gave Guerrero a chance must have been crazy.... Canelo, what was he thinking trying to out box Floyd? Ortiz had his small moments with him & I actually believed Ortiz would have won if the head butt or cheap shot didn't take place. I wouldn't mind seen a rematch tbh. If Ortiz comes back strong at welter.

              I see what your saying, he did do a much better job of forcing the action against Floyd. But if you go back and watch that fight when the head butt happened Floyd had Ortiz pretty much figured out by then. He was timing him up and teeing off at will. Ortiz was getting frustrated and lost it when Floyd starting hitting him elbows first. I think if the sucker punch hadn't happened Floyd would have stopped him by round 7 outside of Victor getting lucky and landing something huge on Floyd...

                Ortiz is fortunate he ran into a 147 Mayweather without Sr in his corner.

                  Floyd is back with his dad and he's on a completely different level now.

                    True, I think Ortiz would stop Canelo

                      Aggression does not equal accomplishment. If we're honest, Guererro came closer to winning than Ortiz or Canelo, but all 3 came up woefully short.
