Where did I say it was impossible for him to do it? I said it was a factor when you analyse who would win between Golovkin and Mayweather.

You're the ****** who's acting like everyone drops weight at 30 years old with 30 fights and it's no big deal. So why can't you name one fighter that has successfully done this?

    Still waiting.

So are you asking for people to give their personal opinions on who they'd favour over Floyd or who'd actually be the betting or general consensus favourite?
A fight at 154 gennady beats floyd and will put all my points on it.

Experience tells me someone like you who spouts that has no education and no clue.

Do you know the statement the burden of proof lies on the individual making the claim? That was you. Now, prove to me, with a peer reviewed jounal that staying at a consistent weight will make it exceptionally harder to lose or gain weight for an individual, when you can prove that, then I'd automatically go ahead and make examples. But until you can prove that, do you see how weak your argument is? Until you can prove that, I win by default.

If you don't understand why, then I'm done here.

Yes and you made the claim that hundreds, nay millions of fighters do this.

Yet you can't name a single one.

I said hundreds of fighters (multiple division champions) and millions of people. Until you can show me there's some proof to your idea that there's a correlation between difficulty in losing weight and time having stayed at that weight you're just talking ****, I pulled you up on it and now you're mad.

But good job attempting to divert attention away from yourself. I'm done.

Multiple divison champions typically win titles by gaining weight, not by losing it. History has already shown that fighters who lose weight after being at a certain weight for a long period of time and who are also on the wrong side of 30 perform poorly when they decide to move back down.

Eddie Chambers fought as a heavy weight for most of his career but he was always undersized so naturally, people thought he would perform better as a cruiserweight. So, he loses the weight and ends up losing his next fight. Someone already mentioned Chad Dawson being affected by losing weight even though he thought he would be able to perform successfully.

Golovkin's been at middleweight his entire career. He's built his body into the weight class. If he loses weight to try and get to 154, it could pretty much mean career suicide, all things considered. And even if he could make 154 to try and fight Floyd, do ya'll really think Floyd would have the fight at he actual weight limit? I mean, he made a catch weight for Canelo. What makes you think he wouldn't try an even harsher one for GGG?

I said we don't know how the weight loss will effect Golovkin. He's never fought at 154 before and he's going to start moving down in weight after 30 fights at 30+ years old. It's a factor in this potential fight. A factor which you matter of factly tried to dismiss out of hand as if it was nothing - YOU made the bold claim.

There are several examples from Roy Jones to Chris Byrd to Chad Daswon of fighters who have tried to go down in weight late in their career with detrimental effects. Eddie Chambers just a few weeks failed in his move down to Crusierweight.

Now give me one success story in that area.

Curtis stevens. Been fighting at higher weights full whole career. Moved to 160 recently and doing just fine.

Honestly never heard of him until he was announced as Golovkin's opponent. What did he do?

Is he a champion? LOL....."hundreds of fighters" and this clown comes up with Kurtis Stevens?
