Mosley was trying to have conversations in the center of the ring, Floyd punched him in his mouth. End of story.

What's Trout's stance and what's Floyd's stance in the middle of the ring?
Firstly: Trout is a southpaw -- that makes him vulnerable to straight rights, which it did materialize. Now Floyd has a "perpendicular" stance, moves fast and is not pressing forward -- those makes him very hard to hit while in the center of the ring.

See she you in that ring getting caugh unexpectedly you forget all that **** you been training for and you revert to the habits you have. Floyd camp even told Shane that about that pitty pat jab. But once Shane started getting timed he reverted.

Canelo will get stopped mark my words......

          Willing to get too
I will mark your words because he ain't stopping nobody...this ain't victor ortiz cuz..sorry to break it to you but don't count your chickens before they've hatched. I'm not taking anything from Floyd, in fact I haven't criticized Floyd but since we are going there both men make plenty of mistakes in the ring. Let that straight right hit Floyd square in the mouth and let's see if he's still standing..I doubt it but it's whatever.

Well since you want to go there shall I go to round 2 of the mosley fight..he got tagged right in the middle of the ring. If Floyd thinks he's faster than you he's going to lean back and try to come off with a counter punch..that's how he got tagged...so it is possible. Cotto made Floyd's nose bleed in the middle of the ring..Slow azz Cotto BTW..Mosley set him up nicely for them two shots, so yeah it's possible to hit Floyd in the middle of the ring. I give Floyd props and i've not critiqued him but to hear people talk dude is literally smoke and untouchable...he's definitely touchable. If Floyd does indeed win folks in here did plenty of talking to devalue the win.

P.S: Unlike most in here I have given both men their props...folks want to make it sound like Saul has no chance...to me that's ******. He's a boxer not a chef...every man steps in the ring with a chance to win.

LOL@ people who say the elbow isn't dirty. Say that when you are in the ring, and hit with one and it splits you open.

I think Mayweather gets away with a lot of stuff in the ring, and never gets called for it.

He is like Micheal Jordan, he can carry the ball, travel and if he gets touched gets a foul called.

Mayweather clinches way too much, elevates the elbow in a dangerous way and pushes the head down when a fighter gets inside.

I don't think things will change with that though, so Canelo is going to have to overcome those things like everyone else has tried to.

Here are some fighters Canelo has not knocked out in relatively recent fights:
              • Austin Trout
              • Shane Mosley
              • Matthew Hatton
              • Lovemore Ndou
              • Lanardo Tyner

Canelo is a strong puncher, and every fighter who steps into the ring has the opportunity to land a big punch, but I don't know how so many people have developed this notion that Canelo is Mexico's Lucas Matthysse. He's not.

Realistically, to hurt Floyd, Canelo is going to have to get to his body, and more than once. And for the first time in his career perhaps, he's going to have to think about the return fire. Floyd may not be a knockout artist, but there's a reason his most opponents are a lot less aggressive than they say they'll be. Decent pop combined with killer speed makes for very effective if not devastating punches.

... In the Mosley fight, Floyd was tagged badly. Everybody knows that. But Floyd held and clinched there (in the middle of the ring) until he recovered.

I agree Canelo has his chances... All I wanted to underline earlier was that Canelo would have significant chances with his left hand combos, while having Floyd on the ropes. (I saw Canelo swinging too wide in the middle of the ring.)

(I can also see Canelo defending himself from the back foot -- trying to lure Floyd into one of his big hooks or uppercuts... But it depends on the circumstances...)

Canelo already know his eyes is going to match his hair color by the 6th round, by the 12th they will be match MW skin color.
