but the problem is he doesn't suck...he has true ATG skills that he never bothered testing against the best in his era

if i had that much ego and skill, i'd want every one to have no doubt on who the greatest of this era was

I agree with you completely, but that's why I kind of don't blame him at the same time. He has a different mind frame when it comes to these things. He knows he's way better than the guys he picks to fight, so it's easy money for him. Deep down he probably thinks why should he face the most dangerous opponents for pretty much the same amount of money with the exception of Pacquiao, when he can make just as much facing fighters like Robert Guerrero & Victor Ortiz as examples. Their both good fighters, but their not anywhere near Floyd's class. With Pacquiao, he was very afraid that he was going to lose, so he probably knew it would effect the amount of money he would make in the fights after that if he lost his perfect record. That's just my opinion anyways.

If Matthysse destroys Garcia on Saturday, I'll be pretty surprised if Floyd decides to fight him. But I'm expecting Floyd to face the winner of Khan/Alexander next May.

I don't blame Floyd so much as his fans refusal to admit what he does.

        They'll say 'Floyd's the bess', 'Floyd's the greatest', 'Floyd's #1 atg' etc.

then if you point out fighter's he's avoided and the pre-fight advantages he loads, they'll just give him a pass.

I dont see showtime approving Alexander as his opponent. It will do less ppv buys than Floyd/Guerrero. There's not even desire to see him face China chin Khan.

Also if he is such a duck other than jrmw's, and mws, aka size advantage not skill advantage, who would you favor to beat Floyd ww and jrww? Than why did Floyd all of a sudden "retire" back in 2008? He seen how much talent was in the welterweight division at the time & didn't want any part of it. With Margarito just watch the video on youtube from 2006 I believe it was from, Floyd was clearly scared of him. I know Floyd would have most likely won, but he still didn't fight him. He turned down 8 million to fight him, an insane amount of money for Floyd at the time.

This is like the "when did you stop beating your wife" argument. My question is how can blame Floyd when he's never been a ducker?" There's an obvious different standard for Mayweather. Everyone Mayweather beat is a carefully handpicked opponent chosen only for the reason to preserve his 0 loss. Anyone else beat that same opponent and no question it's a legit win.
