Can you really blame Floyd for being a ducker?

It hurts his legacy completely, & makes him look scared, but most fighters would do the same if they were in his position. It's definitely lame & I disagree completely with it, but I can't exactly blame him for going for easy fights. He makes insane amounts of money regardless of who he fights. If he decided to fight someone like Andre Berto next if he beats Canelo he would still make 25-30 million total for the fight.

His whole gimmick is based on being undefeated, so he knows a lot of people order his PPVs to see if he loses. If he loses once, I guarantee that the money he rakes in per fight will drop & his PPV numbers would drop.

He picks fights where he knows he's the huge favorite because it's easy money for him. He demanded the Canelo fight be at a catchweight so he knows it would be easier for him to win. But can you blame him when he's making all that money based on being the #1 P4P fighter, & raking in all that cash regardless of who he fights?

    if Floyd ******, i wouldn't blame him...he's made a lot of money

but the problem is he doesn't suck...he has true ATG skills that he never bothered testing against the best in his era

if i had that much ego and skill, i'd want every one to have no doubt on who the greatest of this era was

That's exactly my biggest problem with Floyd. He's truly gifted but never really put his talent to the test consistently.

Yeah i can blame floyd for being a ducker,,,

he is too good to not have tested himself in the big fights,,,

Him and roy both could have landed bigger fights than they did

The only eye opening choice Mayweather can make is facing Golovkin at 160, but that isn't gonna happen and I honestly can't blame him.

like if Floyd was Berto and got away with these antics...i wouldn't blame him for ****...but its Floyd

if Floyd wanted to go on a legacy rampage, there woulda been no retirement

on his resume woulda been Tszyu, Casamayor, prime Cotto, Margarito, prime Mosely, and Pacquiao

NOone would have been able to say ****

but no...we got Bruseles, Baldomir, Ortiz, Guerrero and Sharmba Mitchells on that b1tch

Ok I'm just curious if Floyd is such a ducker, why didn't cotto Mosley, katayzu, I can keep going not want to fight him when he wasn't a big money draw? Were they ducking too? Also if he is such a duck other than jrmw's, and mws, aka size advantage not skill advantage, who would you favor to beat Floyd ww and jrww? I mean lets be real if Nelo was a ww no on would think he had a chance.

Absolutely. Floyd is rightfully p4p number one but when has he really been tested? Cotto?

Floyd has always had some sort of advantage in every fight.

JMM moved up 2 weight classes and Floyd still didn't honor the CW
Guerrero only had 3 fights at 147 including Floyd.
Ortiz was ktfo in a very shameful manner; especially coming from the high standard Floyd is held to.
Hatton was a good win but he was also moving up.

If Floyd beats Canelo, which I think he will but it WONT be easy then we can appreciate his skills. But I have a weird feeling about this fight. Floyd hasn't been tested the way Canelo will test him in a long time. I don't read into the ghost fight at all. Canelo isn't ghost
