Erik's career before zahir raheem- 48-2 only lost to MAB
erik's career from zahir raheem on- 4-7
Is it name recognition or status when they fought?

Floyd's comeback up to now has been a sham, something wrong or not quite right with almost every fight. He had a real opportunity to do something noteworthy by fighting his fellow LMW champion, Canelo, at LMW....instead he had to go for the catchweight.
He has done absolutely nothing to overtake Manny except tread water. I'm still wondering when this guy will actually get it right and fight the best and hardest opponent he can without any howler's or any of his nonsense.

Originally posted by LacedUp View Postif you include the likes of Bradley, Ledwabo and Clottley for Pac then you have to include the likes of Ortiz, Baldomir, Hernandez & Guerrero for Mayweather. Which actually puts Floyd ahead on that count.
Furthermore, you have to take into account that Pac has been knocked out 3 times and lost against Morales and drew/got KTFO vs Marquez who Floyd schooled with ease. If Marquez was prime when Pac beat him the first time, then he surely was also prime when Mayweather beat him.
But if you really want to go into that discussion, I can also bring up the fact that Cotto could hardly make 147, let alone 145. That Hatton had been brutally outclassed and KO vs Floyd before he fought Pac and ODLH hadn't fought at 147 for ten years and was coming off losses and inactivity when Pac beat him.
But I see you have a clear agenda against Floyd, which is highlighted by some of your other posts, which makes me not want to get into this. I have stated before that I like both guys, but I give the edge slightly to Floyd at this stage.

And for me all those stronger bigger guys he ran through like they werent there but no to testing. Red flags for me. Dont wanna get into it cause i think he cheated but to each his ownLast edited by Fetta; 09-04-2013, 02:42 PM.

Indeed the Pacquiao fight was at least at Hatton's best weight, the Mayweather fight was not. I'd probably rate Mayweather's win over De La Hoya higher as Mayweather definitely fought a better version of De La Hoya but you do have to factor in the manner of victory. Mayweather fairly narrowly but deservedly beat De La Hoya, but Pacquiao beat him up bad.
Is the manner of victory of no importance? Raheem beat Morales on the scorecards but Pacquiao beat him up pretty bad in two fights, the only guy to do that to Morales until Garcia did it to him as recently as last October!
