Any sane and non biased poster would easily pick Mayweather. Manny Pacquiao is/was a great fighter, but his career isn't very consistent IMO. I'd even rank Hopkins ahead of Manny (for this era) to be honest.

Pacquiao's career isn't consistent? Why, because the one fighter he has trouble with has been given multiple rematches? Other than that, Pacquiao's had some great stretches of impressive victories whilst steamrolling that opposition.

I, personally, don't think Floyd has tested himself as often Pacquiao given the stages of their careers. For instance:

Floyd has only fought 9 times since 2006.

Pacquiao has fought 17 times since 2006.



Both Floyd and Manny get irrational hate on here, but there are few posters on both sides of the fence that lay out legitimate debates when comparing the two boxing icons.

It's an opinion at the end of the day. I like both fighters, couldn't care less about who other guys think rank higher, I just think Mayweather has more good wins on his resume.

None of them have any particular amazing win in my opinion.

For someone reason the highlighting didn't work, I was highlighting the point you made about Floyd having fought more internationally recognised fighters than Pacquiao, which you know, is factually incorrect.

Hopkins is above both lol
but right now obviously Floyd would be higher ranked, since Pac was just KO'd and Floyd is still winning. Not sure how that can be argued. And I like Pacquiao more too
