I didn't miss it. At best... and I mean absolute best... Cotto was ready to take a knee. Now before you lose your erection, I'm not saying Floyd isn't the best active fighter. He is, by far. He just doesn't have the power to KO Canelo. That is not even saying he isn't strong. For Jr.MW, Floyd has B- power, and that is still a hell of a lot. He just isn't going to KO Canelo. It isn't going to happen. If they met every afternoon at 3:00 pm and fought a 12 round fight for the next 5 years... Floyd would retire at the end of those 5 years having never knocked Canelo out.

What's worse, he could do the same with Cotto and would have never knocked him out either. He just doesn't have the power. People act like it is blasphemy to point out that a fighter who drastically moves up in weight doesn't carry the same power they did 4 divisions ago. That is actually the "norm". For a fighter to move up several divisions over their career and STILL knock people out is extremely rare. The only reason people get so upset when you suggest Floyd doesn't have KO power at WW and beyond is because his arch rival, Pacquiao, does!

Floyd's been talking about KO'ing guys for a while and it never happens. He talked about brutally knocking out Oscar, he gets a split decision. Hatton KO was nice but nothing compared to what Pac did to him. Took a sucker punch to take out Ortiz.
Floyd may win on the 14th, but there is 0% chance he wins by KO.
Canelo has to worry more about stubbing his toe on the way to the ring on fight night then he does getting knocked out by Floyd.
