i agree with what you say here but i actually gave Trout round 3 also. i just dont think Canelo did anything in early rounds except round 2 which i think he won but other then that i had him down 4-1 after 5.

Floyd's hands aren't strong enough to KO a legit jmw of Canelo's stature/rank. I don't believe his hands are healed (and doubt they ever will be). I think floyd has very underrated power (I thought he could have KO'd Cotto if he went for it).

Still, Canelo is a different beast. He's a full-grown JMW with a gigantic snake. It will take more than healed hands to KO him. Floyd will likely try and cruise to a UD by pot-shotting his way to victory. We will see on fight night if he has it in him to actively seek a KO. It's not in his mantra, especially under his dad as a coach, to try and ko opponents. This is just a ploy to sell ppvs. Floyd is going to be floyd. That's it and that's all.

The ONLY guy Floyd KO'd in recently memory was Victor Ortiz who dropped his hands to his side back out of a clinch, looking at the referee. Shame on Ortiz for not protecting yourself at all times getting sucker punched. But the last guy Floyd stopped was a smaller one dimensional, lead with your chin Ricky Hatton who Floyd struggled with all night, for 11 rounds. Floyd got bloodied and mugged going toe to toe with Cotto well past his prime for 12 rounds. Floyd nearly got stretched out in 2 rounds by a 40 year old Shane Mosley before Floyd got on his bike. Floyd ran all night taking pot shots from a far on Guerrero. Floyd gets KO'd by Canelo, so stop talking about what you think you need to do weasel. Floyd doesn't knock anybody out because that means you'll need to engage and Floyd don't like getting hit.

Common denominator in all those fights is that he won. You can have every excuse in the book but he won.
