  • Comments Thread For: Mayweather: I Didn't KO Guerrero, I Want To KO Canelo

Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will square off September 14th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV in not just the biggest fight of the year, but one of the biggest fight in the sports history.

Mayweather will venture north of the Welterweight limit for the third time in his career and while many might think he’s at a size and strength disadvantage, Shane Mosley actually told BoxingScene in a prior interview that he felt Alvarez and Mayweather had similar punching power.

BoxingScene caught up with Mayweather and asked him if after hearing Mosley’s comment, if he felt his power is sometimes underrated. [Click Here To Read More]

You can train for Canelo, you can't train for Floyd. This will be apparent on the 14th.

Mayweather will ko Canelo, that would be awesome

But... I don't believe the hype. Mayweather by decision sounds more likely to happen, I mean clearly. It's nice to dream, sometimes dreams do come out to be true. Let's see what happens come September 14th, war "Money May".

it's not that farfetched to believe mayweather can hurt canelo, we've seen lesser fighters/punchers hurt him in the past although that was against a less experienced canelo...floyd's accuracy and timing could compensate for the latter

He's saying this to try and hype the fight obviously.

Mayweather will not attempt to get the KO, nor does he have the power, ability to take the risks required or the motivation to do so. Go bull***** somewhere else Floyd you massive f@ggot.

Floyd doesn't have the knockout power, but I'd bet he'll be able to stun Canelo.. it'd be interesting to take a 3-4 punch combination from Mayweather like he showed he still could do in the Cotto fight.

The fight is sold out and they toured the country and Mexico for their fight. The hype is already there. Gotdamn there are some haters.

He almost knocked out Cotto in the 12th. I don't think its far fetched.
