First of all (as one previous poster rightly asked):

Where is the BoxingScene article to which Ellerbe refers? This is important. Is it even true that Canelo's management put out an article here on BoxingScene offering to fight at a catchweight, as Ellerbe alleges? I want that established first. Can someone post the link?
Its in my last post on page 4. Better get that link before it gets lost in the mix.

This is what Ward did, good enough for him but not good enough for Mayweather seems silly.

This is the exact mistake Dawson made with Ward. Its his own dam fault he had to open his dumbazz mouf.
This isn't the article, the article you posted is from 2011. Canelo never opened his mouth on weight since then, his trainer did.

Again, this isn't the article. The article Ellerbe's referring to was posted in May or June 2013.

Did you check the date on that thing? Maybe if you go back a few years more, you find Alvarez wanting to fight at 147

Floyd's entire camp is filled with nothing but liars
Then why did he agree to it?

          Can't have it both ways.

Thanks, Grizz. But are you sure that's it? I mean, are they really going back to statements made in 2011? I got the impression it was more recent.

Ah ... thanks, Weebler. I was wondering ...

later update: But wait, I don't read anything about "152" in there. Am I missing something?

still later update: In fact it says that "They (i.e. Canelo's camp) did propose the idea of having a catch-weight, which Mayweather rejected." ??

                THIS IS CORN-FUZING!!

Yes. Way before. (Tried to post the link to the article, but for some reason it wouldn't work. Click on it in Grizzley's post above.)
