People trying to sell Guerrero and Ortiz and Judah and Gatti as wins we should be fawning over. GTFOH.

Pacquiao is the foreman at the cherry orchards while Floyd owns the land.

I know right....Floyd's got the nerve to beat these champions and expect credit. He should know he is the only fighter in the sport that can fight champion after champion and be criticized for lack of opposition.

Little Floyd got credit for going to jail for hitting on a woman. He got credit for sucker punching Victor Ortiz. He get's credit for being a coward who has been running from Manny Pacquiao for 4 years. Little Floyd is a Fraud.

What I remember was it being said (fairly, I think) that Floyd showed that he was tougher than many had said -- that he was willing during stretches to go toe-to-toe with tough-as-nails Miguel Cotto, and that the final round was a Floyd masterpiece. Also that he could fight through getting hit some.

@ The Noose: Just wanted to compliment you on your past two posts. Overall I felt they were very good. Some overlap w/what I had tried to say as well.

So you agree the only way Floyd gets credit is if he pushes himsekf and fights MW's? That right there should tell you how great, not good, but how great Floyd is

Stop crying, they werent very good. I know you probably havent been following the sport for very long, but titles dont really mean that much anymore so your 'champions' as you put it, arent that great...especially the four mentioned above, I mean Victor freaking Ortiz?!?

Well, I see what you're saying, but at the same time I'd want to know the context in which he said it. If he was specifically talking about his opponents, then you have a point. But I do want to give Floyd credit and say that I am blown away at his work ethic in training. I have HUGE respect for the way he "pushes himself" in that sense, and wondered if he could've meant that sort of thing. If not, I concede, I guess, that he could go up in weight class seeking a tougher challenge, but ... I'm just saying that whatever criticism one might make of Floyd, it should NEVER be said that he has been lazy in any way. He has been a total inspiration when it comes to "hard work... dedication".

(Again, not saying you were claiming otherwise, Noose. Just clarifying.)
