Floyd is too good for his own good that it makes people hold him to a much higher standards then everyone else. I mean look at Manny. Dude is fighting another light weight and one coming off a loss and is getting praised for it. Manny is even getting praised for now demanding testing after Floyd was called a coward for it bhwahaha.Comment

I dont buy that. I mean, when Pac beat Mosley he was criticised for his performance, and Floyd was praised for fighting back when he was hurt. Pac KOing Hatton had the wow factor, plus Pac jumped from SFW to Welter, back down to 140. And Hatton struggled with his only other welter fight before losing to Floyd. He's right in this case. He beats Mosley, Mosley was over the hill. Pac beats Mosley he's a legend. Floyd beat Hatton and Hatton was to small. Pac beats Hatton gets all the credit in the world. Floyd beats Cotto, Cotto was washed up. Pac beats Cotto once again all the credit in the world. Trout beats Cotto and hes all of sudden considered Elite. I don't get it
When Pac fought Cotto it was seen as a 50/50 fight, and he gave him a bad beating. Whereas Floyd was a huge favourite and had a tough time.
its all a matter of opinion. But almost everyone believes Floyd to be a great fighter who always has a chip on his shoulder about the criticism he receives.
He is never going to be happy. And the praise he does receive only makes him more arrogant. He acts like a twat to sell fights, but at the same time wants everyone to love him. Its a big mess in his head.Comment

Jack Johnson was hated in his time, Ali was hated in his time, Leonard wasn't well liked, and Floyd isn't now. Five years from now, every fighter that comes up is going to be compared to Mayweather. That's more of an accolade than anything the fans or the media can give.Comment

Everybody jumped on Pacquiao for fighting Mosley and failing to KO him when he had him down and hurt.
Half the boxing community labelled Hatton as damaged goods and ripe for the picking when Pacquiao took his head off. Mayweather was, by the majority, hailed as the best in the world and levels above Hatton after descontructing him.
You're taking Pachugger positions as mainstream in an attempt to be the victim. GROW UP.Comment

Pac became a superstar for not only fighting opponents who people thought could beat him, but also in the manner of his wins.
Floyd talks about pushing himself to his limits....against who? He has had an easy time with nearly all of his opponents for years. And he is always a big favourite to win.
I dont think for a second he actually believes he is pushing himself to his limits. he chooses fighters that are good, but no one believes stand much of a chance. As long as they are coming off a decent win and can be promoted in the right way to secure big PPV sales, that is all that matters.
What ever happened to him talking about his health?
Id love to see him take on guys who people think could actually beat him. Middleweights. I believe he could beat most of them. But he wouldnt take the chance.
Canelo is good, but its a fact he is inexperienced, and his style is suited for Floyd IMO. He struggled with Trout, but u have Oscar saying he will KO Floyd within 8? lol. They are both businessmen selling the fight on bullsheit.Comment
