Those who rank Roy Jones over Hopkins..why?

There was a time i could agree with that but now i don't see how he could rank over Hopkins,Hopkins longevity has pushed him ahead of Jones imo.If you think other wise please state your reason

More dominant, better top wins. Pretty basic conclusion really.

Hopkins has a better long term legacy

but roy would beat hopkins every time they fought in their primes,,,

from 88-2003 if they fought every year,, roy would win every time,,, just a superior athlete,,,, skills are about the same,,,but roy was just a freak of nature,,,,,

that is why i favor roy over hopkins,,,

Youre going to give Hopkins credit for Pavlik and Winky but not Jones for Griffin, Hill, Johnson? C'mon now.

I think hopkins has a slightly better resume,,,, winky and pavlik were way better than an aging hill, griffin, johnson,,,

but saying that,,, i still rank jones higher just because of H2H he is better,,,,

no he was still prime,, just not at his prime weight,,,, he had been on a tear from 2000-07,,
schooled mosley twice, trinidad, taylor IMO, and an ike who i thought beat Forrest,,,
Winky wasnt a good 170 but him and B-hop about the same size,,, plus winky said he wanted to fight the best win or lose,,, he was a real competitor, and he said hopkins was the best and he wanted to test himself vs the best....
Even if it was at MW,, hopkins would beat him,,,,

Holmes, tito, joppy, pascal, pavlik, cloud, winky, are great wins IMO.. cloud not a great fighter but bhop was 48 so i give him credit for dismantling yet another young undefeated champion,,,
The names may be comparable on roy and hopkins resumes, but the timing of the fights, hopkins fought guys at their peak,, and jones not so much

I think if you take hopkins achievements they are better than roys,,,
but roy was the better H2H guy....
