I would love for Rigo to leave Arum and sign with DLH. But here's my question.. Does DLH even want to sacrifice Mares to Rigo? I don't think Golden Boy was happy that Lara beat Angulo. They'd probably be more unhappy if Rigo took Mares to school. Never before in boxing have I seen a case of being to damn good for your own good.
rigo im sure they dont care.Comment

I agree that Bob is being disrespectful, But Rigo really isn't that exciting. When it comes to big TV showcasing, the networks care about the entertainment aspect, and lets face it, he's boring. At least guys like Hopkins, and Mayweather, who may not have the most exciting styles can talk a good game. Rigo doesn't even have that, and he takes zero risks in the ring which produces bad fights.
That doesn't make it necessarily right, but its the truth.Comment

Its not Arum's fault that Rigo can't draw flies to ****
He gave Rigo his biggest payday and he stunk the place out. Everyone started booing even tho I thought it was a close competitive fight.Comment

I can understand people not liking Rigo's style and all, but who ever heard of a sport where no one wants to see the best...or at least see the best beaten? SMHComment

you go rigo!! I hate bias posters, and some Floyd fans, calling him boring.. he's a smaller Floyd.. but he's just not as arrogant or villain.. for anyone to hate him.. but I do agree, he's got to start laying foos outComment

This is Rigo's second time around with Arum. He wanted to leave after the first contract expired. Guille re-signed only after he was offered a fight with Donaire. It seems clear that Bob wanted Rigo, not the other way around. Why would a promoter want to re-sign a fighter he can't promote? Was it to sacrifice the fighter to his precious cash cow? If so, then it's a plan that backfired miserably. Now Arum is destroying what's left of this great fighter's career.Comment
