Just say you agree with Arum disrespecting his own fighter if that's how you feel.

Elite fighters don't overlook their opponents. Period.

The "1 week less won't make a difference" attitude is not one a fighter like Rigondeaux should be displaying, and despite the pressure that is apparently being brought to bear on him, he deserves props for standing firm.

You're trying to force a guy who's been fighting his whole life, a champion in both the amateurs and pros, into fighting sooner than he feels comfortable with. That's fairly presumptuous. Sure, Guille could probably roll out of bed and beat that guy; but if Guillermo says he needed more time, that should be respected. As a champion, he has every right to stick to his guns.

Even I can find Rigo a little too patient, and he even ran in the Cordoba fight, but the display he put on versus Donaire was masterful. In my opinion, you can't call yourself a boxing fan if you can't appreciate that kind of performance.

**** bob arum, rigo has over 60% KO ratio, and his two fights against kennedy and marroquin he had a total of like 6 knock downs or something.

Rigo should definetly turn up the aggression when he has guys hurt but its not his fault all his opponents are absolute scrubs compared to him.

Rigo beat up Bob's hyped up Nonito in a way that made Floyd Mayweather proud. He school Nonito and didn't look like he was even in a fight afterwards. Now Bob is pissed because his guy looked like Chavez Jr after the Sergio fight. Rigo needs to fire Bob ass for not performing up to the level a professional promoter should.
