why blame arum? he's not the owner of hbo. arum is just a promoter trying to sell rigo to hbo and as i've said hbo concentrates more on giving consumers exciting fights. don't get me wrong rigo is a great fighter but consumers don't like his boring style.
boxing fans knows what hbo did to floyd the fraud. they let him go 'cause of the same reason.Last edited by Kuyukut; 08-16-2013, 04:29 PM.Comment

WBA/WBO super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (12-0, 8KOs) is getting fed up with what he is calling a "lack of respect" from his promoter, Top Rank CEO Bob Arum. Rigondeaux doesn't feel he is getting the proper support since beating Nonito Donaire earlier this year. Rigondeaux's return has yet to be finalized, but Donaire is already booked to return on HBO on November 9th.

Gamboa was the class and still is from the Cuban Olympic Team.

Exactly. Arum can't wholesale sell food to a grocery store unless they have a huge nationalistic backing already built inComment

In the same interivew, Rigo said he turned down an HBO undercard slot in Canad because he wanted a 16 week training, not a 7 week training camp.

but donaire is one of them, arum matched them against each other expecting donaire to knock him out. knocking out an undefeated titleholder with two olympic gold medals would be a big step towards making donaire a huge star and when rigo ruined those plans by doing what hes supposed to its almost like arum decided to sabotage rigos career just out of spite.
gbp would sign rigo in a heartbeat if they had any sense. the same thing ppl are saying about rigo they once said about floyd, now hes the biggest cash cow in boxing history. everyone isnt mike tyson, but you can still promote them. especially a guy like rigo who like mentioned does have tremendous star quality for a little man.Comment
