Didn't 8 of his 12 wins come by way of knockout. Seems to me that he already is laying fools out.

Nobody, I was just asserting a belief. However, if Mares would come down from 126 for a showdown with Rigo (which I think he would, if allowed), that would be worth a 600k licensing fee.

I doubt if GB will even be interested as Rigo doesn't draw at all.

why blame arum? he's not the owner of hbo. arum is just a promoter trying to sell rigo to hbo and as i've said hbo concentrates more on giving consumers exciting fights. don't get me wrong rigo is a great fighter but consumers don't like his boring style.

boxing fans knows what hbo did to floyd the fraud. they let him go 'cause of the same reason.

Rigo is the 7:30 p.m. second fight on the card fight, 6-8 rounder, off TV,he has a glass jaw and is a bad tv fighter. Arum should dump him and let him sign with GBP where he will become their house *****/trial horse for their up and coming fighters. Santa Cruz and Mares would destroy Rigo.

Gamboa was the class and still is from the Cuban Olympic Team.

Exactly. Arum can't wholesale sell food to a grocery store unless they have a huge nationalistic backing already built in

Oh goodness. It doesn't sound like he is talking about a 4 month training camp to me. He is saying that a champion deserves to have a fight set up like his fight is a main event. Two months of promo and press tour and two months of training. He doesn't want to take a short notice fight that is barely going to be promoted against a no name fighter as a world champion.

thats because arum did a s.hit job promoting him. that is the job of a promoter you know, to sell a fighter to the fans and networks. how can you say arum did that when all he ever does is insult rigo and talk him down? thats why rigo isnt a draw, he does have the qualities to be one. there arent many little men with more star quality than him.

but donaire is one of them, arum matched them against each other expecting donaire to knock him out. knocking out an undefeated titleholder with two olympic gold medals would be a big step towards making donaire a huge star and when rigo ruined those plans by doing what hes supposed to its almost like arum decided to sabotage rigos career just out of spite.

gbp would sign rigo in a heartbeat if they had any sense. the same thing ppl are saying about rigo they once said about floyd, now hes the biggest cash cow in boxing history. everyone isnt mike tyson, but you can still promote them. especially a guy like rigo who like mentioned does have tremendous star quality for a little man.

Arum is mad at Rigo for beating Donaire. That is all.
