GBP did the same thing with Lara, same putdowns after Angulo. And unlike Rigo, they never let him near the guy he really wants, Canelo.

Besides GBP can't or wouldn't want to meet Rigo's minumum purse. Even Mares doesn't get near Rigo's minimum, much less what he last made

That's why Rigo should go sign with Mayweather Promotions - Floyd could cover his purse miniumum easily and guarantee him Showtime appearances too

The funny thing is Arum said the very same thing about another fighter. Who happens to be the highest grossing boxer of all time. Arum lost out on that deal and here we come full circle. Arum is just like many men in power, he so in love with his control and outlook, that he would rather keep that intact than make money. He is a one dimensional thinker who just doesn't understand that people don't just support fighters of their own race and nationality. People get behind winners. Arum please retire your perspective is out dated and boxing is stagnated by your presence.

Rigo has no one between 118-122 at Top Rank either.Dirty Bob will not allow another Donaire fight.

He needs to move to 126 and fight Gracia,Chris John, or Mares.Then all of his fanboys can see how "good" that he really is. Frampton is 2-3 years away at 122 and Santa Cruz is with GBP. So, he has really nobody at 118-122. Mares would be hard too as he is with GBP.

Rigo is in the same spot as Peter Quillin.He is with the wrong promotional company for his weight class. Rigo with GBP would have 3-4 big fights as they cashed out on him as he isn't that good. We may not know how good Kid Chocalte is as almost all the big-time MW are associated with HBO.

I saw Rigo fight many times as an amateur and that is is style in the pros. He KO'd 6 taxi drivers ,2 good B/B+ level guys and lost to Cordoba. He shoild be 11-1 with a marquee win over Donaire and still more questions than answers about his career.

Man he just outclassed P4P TOP 5 fighter. I'd say he's pretty good. I can also bet any amount on Rigo if he will ever fight Mares. He's the best P4P fighter in the world right now. Yes, I said it. He's better than Floyd and Ward IMO.

Okay,I understand that you like Rigo but they have professionals to deal with your delsuions...lol... about him being anywhere near a top 15 P4P list.

Putting Rigo in a top 20 P4P list with a victory over Donaire only is cause for concern also.Rigo is somewhere between 16-25 right now at best on P4P list. He does not have the resume at all to be anywhere near top 15. maybe I will be wrong and in the next 1-2 years he fights and beats some top fighters but right now....yikes. His fans can argue the word "yet" and I'll take the let's see approach.

Most fans are unaware of the disparity in weight. Rigo schooled a guy north of the junior welterweight limit that night. Guillermo is tiny compared to many of the guys he's fought. "El Chacal" will beat anyone at 118 or 122, anyone.
