IMO, pac never gave me that "WTF?!?" moment in regards to physicality or performances. he didnt have KO power @ 147 (oscar, clottey, cotto all said he didnt hit hard).... he ALWAYS had amazing conditioning & workrate... what are these "signs" of PED abuse everyone keeps parroting? enlarged head? ariza shakes??? LOL. c'mon son.

but jmm indeed had me scratching my head when he revealed the hulk version of himself (note the scrawny legs). his new found power and punch resistance and his obvious physique along with memo obviously comes off suspect. but i wouldnt go as far to accuse the guy of being a cheater.... i know people who do crossfit that bulked up in a matter of 2-3 months clean, which proves that a focused regimen will show visible results. but it was definitely a shock to see an older fighter show up with that physique at that phase in his career. imagine if b-hop showed up looking like jeff lacy for his next fight????
The WTF moment was the excuses about not taking tests in 2009. It was bad enough when he let his team float the "i'm afraid of needles" excuse (when he has tatoos) and the morales "draining blood weakens me" excuse. Manny was ok until he tried to negotiate the cutoff and got caught lying about when he gave blood for the Hatton fight.

I don't care how much any poster or fan loves Manny, those answers and responses were as bad as what we saw from A Rod last night. Manny made himself look guilty.

i dont think manny was a big puncher at 147... i think his speed and combinations what made him dangerous. hatton @ 140 was his only frightening KO. so yeah, i stand by my statement.

regarding jmm, he ate solid shots from pac like skittles. he always had great recovery, but in the past, anytime pac touched him his knees buckled... even the knockdown pac scored in the last fight wasnt solid. katsidis even dropped jmm with less... my observation is that jmm seemed alot more durable & physically stronger. jmm was always vulnerable to getting dropped, but it was guaranteed that he would get up.

but im sure you'll question that as well.

Same old same old, you'll never resist a moment to bash Pacquaio, the 2009 testing, needles, blood being drawn weakening the body (you're clearly wrong about that, it's physiologically a very sound argument).

Again - I don't care if you think it isn't true, not wanting blood drawn too close to the fight because of psychological and physiological side-effects is very real, and the fact he said it after the Morales fight pretty much proves he has his own proof on how blood effects him. For every excuse you just claimed Pacquaio brought up (all in 2009 apparently) there are x3 as more that Mayweather has used, and they have spanned around 4 years now.

totally agree with this. what team pac did AFTER the accusations is what made him suspect. personally, i chalked it up as pride and an unwillingness to bend to floyd's demands. at the time, pac had REAL negotiating power. so i wasnt surprised he met floyd's demands with a big "F** you". team mayweather insults the man and expects him to agree to said demands? diva stuff... bad for the sport. period.

IMO, pac shouldve done testing for his next immediate fight (clottey). problem solved.

but my beef was with the accusations... it was baseless. it was simply a b*tch move. simply a desperate attempt to discredit and derail pac's career... highschool girl ****.

I'm probably the only poster su****ious of Matthysse and thinks he's gonna get knocked out because of the random drug testing he has to do for the first time.
