It's amazing how you clowns haven't come to terms with what is common knowledge especially when your idol admitted it himself like he saw something strange about Marg at the time in some of his recent interviews; he'd rather be a rich coward; and so on...

His toughest fight since Castillo was against Cotto, the best pressure fighter he's fought since. Not exactly a coincidence.

even that version of Floyd would have been mauled by Duran

i mean just look at what examples you guys are throwing out...Corrales, Castillo...these guys are ****ing B-level fighters and you're gonna match him up against an ATG beast that was tested against other ATGs

Manos de Pierda is correct...Floyd would NOT be unbeaten...he would NOT be the golden child (Leonard) had that

there was no 24-7 to help 'sell' those ATGs...no one woulda gave a crap about Floyd...he would have been ordinary

he would have killed himself to stay at 130

Floyd is a great fighter,, would be great in any era,,, but prime duran beats prime floyd,,,,

FLoyd probably the best 130 lb fighter ever but duran was the best 135 ever...

Please dont compare floyd-corrales to a duran fight....

Corrales is a good action fighter,,, not elite ATG like duran.... Floyd has never been in the ring with somebody as skilled as duran...

              • Floyd has one of the greatest defenses in the history of boxing. He is very athletic, super quick and one of the most techinically sound boxers of all-time.

I'm not a fan, but to say he would be "ordinary" in any era is just someone hating.

I wish, as fans of the sport, people could put aside hate and emotions.

SRL defended against the likes of Benitez, Hearns and Duran.

Floyd defended against Baldomir, Ortiz and the Sharmba's of the world. I wouldn't dare compare these guys in Floyd's favor having what we have to go on.
You're blinded by hate to the extent you are letting that cloud your judgement. I'm not saying that Floyd is a better fighter than SRL, but it doesn't take a genius to know that SRL's defensive technique wasn't as fluidly fundamentally sound as guys like, Willie Pep, Pernell and Floyd. He had great footwork[his best defense attribute], and was a better all-around offensive fighter than Floyd, but I'm not impressed with his defensive technique as i am with guys like Pernell and Floyd.

                    • all of Floyd's online children probably never even watched these ATGs

if you guys think Floyd is this beast because of his performances, can you imagine what Hearns, Leonard, Duran would have done to the likes if Ortiz, Guerrero, Baldomir, or Sharmba Mitchell?

                      comical
