lol since when did Floyd fight mandatories? It was one of the 2 or 3 biggest fights at the time that could have been made, there was legit interest in the fight, and a career purse offer on the table. Keep making excuses.

If margs and floyd fought in 2006-2008 era the fight would have been like this...

floyd moving like crazy, popping the jab to head and stomach,, staying off the ropes,, margs just coming forward,, eating all the punches,,,

mid rounds would be floyd touching the ropes but also unloading straight rights to margs head,, still using the jab,, tying margs up on the inside,, margs starting to land some shots, but still losing the fight,,

rounds 9-12 floyd would being getting pinned alot on the ropes, margs would be bleeding but coming on like gangbusters,, floyd dodging or smothering alot of margs shots, but margs has floyd busted and bleeding from mouth and nose...

Not sure if margs finishes floyd or floyd withstands the pressure and secures the UD

A margs-floyd ppv in 2006 would have done more than the baldomir-floyd fight..
Baldomir-floyd drew 375,000 ppv buys,, floyd vs margs would have been 450,000+

Just because the mexican fan base would have gobbled this fight up,,, Baldomir had no such fan base

We are talking about Margarito ok. I would pay to watch all of those guys fight that you mentioned except for Margarito-at that time. During that time Margarito had no fan base, and was just another name. You know that Floyd wanted to leave Top Rank. Floyd was tired of fighting for peanuts under Arum and you know it.
