I voted yes just because the TS is a twat
Can you be considered an ATG when these are your 10 best wins?

Can someone just close this thread please, I'm sick of both sides.
Klitschko fans stop trying to big up vitalis resume, it is average. Vitali is a special fighter, but the fact is he never fought people who could test him and the 4 year hiatus due to injury meant he missed out on some good fights and his physical prime.
Klitschko haters, stop trying to make out that vitali was a bum. He is an excellent fighter and an excellent ambassador for the sport. Also like Bernard Hopkins he is a role model to show the things that can be achieved at an advanced age (especially for boxing).
There is never intelligent debate, just people stating "facts" to suit their own aggenda. I do though believe that this thread makes a point. Vitali isn't an ATG. He is a HOF fighter though, a top 2 heavyweight across 2 decades and a tough nights work for any style and any fighter throughout history. But this thread has just gotten out of hand.Comment

[QUOTE=r.burgundy;13643539]Why would he fight him again? Because Byrd was the highest rated contender next to himself and he had already lost to him. Why did Wlad fight him again when he actually won? Because he was the highest rated contender. Duh!!Comment

[QUOTE=JAB5239;13645603]To be fair wladimir fought Byrd a second time because Byrd was the IBF champion and wlad beat Peter in an IBF eliminator.
I do agree with you though, it was frustrating the way vitali never chased a rematch, just like wlad never chased the sanders rematch (though that's more understandable due to wlad rebuilding and vitali retiring sanders).Comment

[QUOTE=JAB5239;13645603]he lost a fight he was dominating due to injury.thats not some clear controversial loss.and again,by the time he came back, byrd was just a part time fighter.he fought byrd again for the ibo belt, not because he wanted a rematch lol.duhh!!Comment

imo the heeavyweight division hows always had 2 0r 3 exceptional guys and everybody else avg.people are starting to take more notice because their are no more big names or compelling personalities and the lower weight classes dominate the ratings now.both klits are definitely atg fighters and should be on anybodys top 25 of atg hw.on a lb for lb scalethey might not show up but they are definitely upper echelon of hwCan someone just close this thread please, I'm sick of both sides.
