Styles make fights, so of course different fighters are going to match up with other fighters differently.

Can't argue the point, so resorts to cliches that have no bearing on the issue.

What you fail to get here is that the Klitschko brothers have all been deflated the hopes and motivations of other up and coming fighters around the league, so you aren't seeing other fighters the way you would if two physically imposing walls weren't ultimately in the way. They are dominating the heavyweight division, and have, for so long, that it's become relatively hopeless.

Laughable. Essentially saying "All the Heavyweight contenders know it's hopeless so they deliberately fight like ****." Riiiiiight.

Even George Foreman said that there are as many talented heavyweight now as ever before, there just aren't as many accomplished heavweights.

Bottom line: most of the heavyweights you probably admire from, and throughout history, would be defeated by either of the Klitschkos'.

I agree with everything you say my man. But the fella was trying to make something unique out of the situation.

Fact is, if someone asks you to do a rematch because it was close or both are big names, a fighter is not going to say no on the spot. Simple as that.

Far too much has been put into what Lennox said in his post fight interview.

I don't blame Lewis for renegging on the rematch, it would have been a terrible gamble, and he'd already proven himself enough.

Lewis is the best heavyweight boxing has had in some time, and I take nothing away from that. But, I'll bet even he knows that his legacy may have been quite different had he faced the Klitschko's on mutliple occasions.

You are wrong. Without the Klitschko's, guys like David Haye, Chris Aereola, Derrick Chisora, and a number of others, would be engaging in a power struggle for control of the heavyweight division.

And they'd still look like skilless jokes.....as they do on those rare occasions when they DO fight each other.

you guys are crazy, hell yeah that is a ATG list when you consider the fact that had it not been for 2 freak incidents he would be undefeated right now, when you also consider the fact that he took 4-5 years off and came back to win the title he left behind in his very first fight. you guys are taking away too much credit from Vitali due to his opposition when in fact a lot of the guys he beat were former champions, he was beating Byrd and starting to beat the brakes out of Lennox, I say if he adds Haye and 2 more solid top 10 guys he will be undeniably a atg
