Mexicans are the best in the biz my friend, it's not a bias it's the truth. Also, I know you will say other wise but I count Mexican/Americans in there as well. Mexican blood is Mexican blood.

Just like Danny Garcia is PR and there will be second generation Cuban/Americans you guys will rally around, the border doesn't cut our blood off.

Also, notice how every thread is "Mexicans vs ___________"

Wonder what the common denominator is in that very common sentence? Hmmmm let me think.
Maniac is that you? lol JK.

You are quoting an older post, I've given Canelo his respect plenty of times. We all know the Gamboa fiasco was BS. If you want to revisit that and use it as ammunition that' fine. We'll take the hit for that one. Doesn't excuse Mikey bitching out though.

You're right. I'm all man, mija.

You're right about something else: There is no current Mexico-Cuba rivalry. But the writing is on the wall. We have just about as many current champions as Mexico, and more waiting in the wings. It's only a matter of time before the clashes come. It might even start with Lara-Alvarez.

Speaking of Landy, there's one good fighter. Hernandez, the cruiserweight champ, is a damn good fighter as well. Rigo is P4P, and everyone, including your ignorant pendejo ass, knows it. Gamboa, despite his ******ity, is still a name. Barthelemy is pretty good, and he's likely to win us another belt on July 10. Abril may be boring, but he is a champion. I could go on, but I've already disproved your ****** statement.

Go back to sucking people off on some Cotto thread. And pray that a nearly forty year old, twice knee operated, shell of a champion, "Maravilla", doesn't show up at anything past 70%. Pray....

Yet, the moment we come back, we instantly take our rightful place amongst the boxing powers. Not even all of our good fighters are competing as pros.

Whos talking about boxing history? Did you not read the title of this thread and the OP?

And dont be a fkin hypocrite cause I hit you where it hurts. You wanna whine about childishness but youre quick to side with PRPP. Since you were so quick to side with him then why dont you answer my question too about PR fighters.

I'm not getting mad in the least. If you want to talk about Mexican boxing, at least have respect for the juggernaut it is. Wipe your feet before coming in my house, it's disrespectful.

Second, you can pick Quillin, I don't give a **** but if you take the current Mexican and Mexican/American champs, we are still doing our thing. Mexico is to boxing, what tea is to England. One doesn't go without the other.

Well I didn't know it was an older post but still, Mikey b1tching out? LOL, Gamboa needs to fight more than once every two years to be considered in the same sentence as Mikey.

Our fights tend to be held within the 126 and lower weight threshold due to world class filipino talent being on the smaller side of the spectrum.

Is it the Philippines fault for having most of their talented fighters weighting at 108 to 112? Simply because the US public and media dont care for it doesn't mean it is disregarded elsewhere. BTW Viloria is Filipino and has fought numerous times in the Philippines, including his stoppage victory over Gio Segura. Born in Hawaii or not the Filipino people still claim him as their own and give him such position and role in the sport.

Cubans are great and i respect them, i do see a strong rivalry coming.. it's just that in my opinion I'm more aware and see more activity vs the Filipino boxers at this moment in time. Disregarding weight classes.
Good post. You're right, I'm talking from a US perspective.

            Respect, bro.

              lol "Delusion."

It's a fact that Cuba had a professional world champion boxer before Mexico and Puerto Rico. It's a fact that, when forced to fight exclusively in the amateurs, Cuba dominated boxing. It's a fact that shortly after some Cuban boxers left the island, they became world champions. It's a fact that Cubans have several more professional world champions than Puerto Rico.

Careful that the delusion you carry around doesn't evaporate a week from tomorrow....

Where exactly did I disrespect Mexican boxing? Cause I called Garcia a mutt? Find me a post here where I said anything wrong about Mexican boxing.

You said Mexicans are the best boxers and I called you bias cause I disagreed with it. If they were the best you would have more than ONE guy on the P4P list. Where's the disrespect in that?

Do you know what the term "mutt" means in boxing gyms? There's nothing worse you can call a fighter, not even bum.

Mutt means he's heartless, he's a half breed with no balls. Maybe you didn't know that, but I wouldn't go into gyms and call someone a mutt.

You know damn well what I meant by mutt. That you took it in gym terms then that's on you.

Lara vs Angulo was a good fight for this rivalry, now we get Lara vs Canelo which is even better if Lara wins lol
