Gamboa is blown up as it is and has no business at 135. Mares looked big and a lot stronger than I expected at 126 though a move to 130 is probably a bit too soon.

Mares impresses me big time ! He makes it look like you can compete, but then comes with a whole new game plan. he looks so beatable, but then you get in there with him and its not what you thought it was. i.e. mayweather , ward, bam bam rios, danny Garcia etc.. these guys know what to do in the ring, Mares fights the right fight to defeat whatever particular style he is faced with. He will **** Gamboa up ! Gamboa has not faced the type of elite comp Mares has faced over his last 4 or 5 fights. to establish dominance over Mares you have to be able to dictate from the first bell, and it takes Gamboa a couple of rounds to settle, can't let Mares control - he will maul Yuri !
