I think if Maidana works behind the jab he'll KO Broner.
    Maidana>boner

Amazing how many people don't know **** about boxing

Broner is almost a bum. Bests wins to date: Paulie and Demarco.

      Lol.

      Maidana kicks his ass.

Whilst I don't like or rate Broner
Having better wins, means nothing. This logic has failed time & time again

This vaunted punching power Maidana has could not ko Khan. Now I'm not saying that Maidana can't ko Broner. I just don't think that Maidana can ko Broner. He doesn't have the style to beat Broner.

He didn't ko khan officially but he had his legs looking like spaghetti, the overwhelming concensus around here after that fight was that EL CHINO stopped him in a rematch, it's not like Khan "ate" those shots and shook them off or anything, he barely survived, Broner doesn't have the foot speed to survive that way, he will get methodically broken down with vicious shots tempered with a beautiful jab that Garcia refined him with.

Garcia and Prescott finished Khan, and Maidana couldn't. Who hits harder of the 3? It comes down to technique, and Maidana's style is tailormade for Broner. Imo Broner's footwork is fine. It's his flair for punches where his flaws are. Most of Broner's punches are straight which is why he couldn't catch Paulie at will like he did other guys who stood in front of him. Paulie knew this, but couldn't capitalize because Paulie found out also that Broner has good defense.

Just because one fighter is stronger than another, and they both fight the same opponent doesn't mean the stronger of the two has to KO the common opponent. It's boxing, he isn't going to just stand there, just like even a feather fisted fighter has the classic "punchers chance", not even considering stylistic matching. Maidanas style was tailormade for broner, before Garcia transformed him into a more complete fighter, a small fact people keep trying to ignore.

Broners defense isn't terrible, but it's not that great either, or Paulie wouldn't have been touching up his body almost at will. If he tries to outmaneuver Maidana he will get caught, if he goes toe to toe he will lose, if he boxes him he may hurt Marcos but Marcos' shots will do more damage per hit and if it goes into the late rounds Broner will be forced to back pedal into survivial mode and try to reach the cards.

Would be a great fight, we'll finally see that chin tested.

I think you need to re-read my post again. The first sentence that you wrote almost shocked me, lmao.
