Maidana has won the first battle of talking and he will win that war easily but i'm not sure who will win the fight. I like the fight, it will actually give something of an answer to the question about how good Broner really is.
Great post, sums up my thoughts on this fight. Can't believe that a lot of people think that this fight is a mismatch in broners favor.

If Maidana couldn't beat Khan, he won't beat Broner. If you can't box, you won't beat Broner.

I like Broner's chances against him. Too much speed. Period.
TyC Sports (an Argentinian TV channel) aired this week a long interview with Chino reviewing his career. The female interviewer asked him if he wouldn't like at least one easy fight. Maidana said: "In the US there are not easy fights". Then smiled and added: "Well, it could be Malignaggi".

Maidana has definitely improved since then and Khan has greater hand and foot speed than Broner. You might be right about the last bit but we don't know that yet. Broner has yet to be hit by a big punching welterweight and for whatever else Maidana is he is certainly a big punching welterweight.

I can't wait for that fight because I think after that Paulie showing they might actually be dumb enough to make Broner an underdog in which case I'll bet everything I own
What foot work are you speaking of? AB is stuck on concrete and as far as defense just because he has his shoulder up and his chin buried in it giving ppl the illusion of defense doesn't mean its working. AB has shown not to be terribly hard to find.

I can ride with this. I do want to see how Broner reacts to a big shot. I just don't think that big shot will come from Maidana.

Broner beats Maidana. Clearly at that. Needs to happen next.
