He fights Brook though, Alexander will get wrecked and quit again.

We will never see it happen though, even if it gets signed Brook wouls just duck Devon again by pulling out.

He pulled out through a legitimate injury the same as Alexander did or does he get a pass and Brook gets ****ted on?
Devon outboxes nothing. Couldn't even outbox Euro level robotic Kotelnik.
Hes nothing in my eyes but a rather basic southpaw who is completely made for Brook.

Say what you want about Devon but he has proven he can compete at the top level. Brook struggles with journeymen.
Brook looks good when he's fresh, imo it's stamina issues which hold him back. If he can fix those he can beat Alexander who imo has yet to fight a legit WW outside of old Bailey.
And looks good when hes fresh? Maybe it has more to do with him fighting bums and looking great and then when he steps up to fight the mighty Carson Jones hes pushed to the limit.

Could see Brook winning that one.

He does have the above. Everytime he has fought anybody with a jab hes had a nightmare against.
I think he only really looks good against plodders who follow him in straight lines - Maidana, Urango, Purdy etc etc
He'll probably beat Khan but Brook takes him apart.
Hes never even fought a legitimate welterweight & Khan doesn't change that.

Devon has already outboxed a much better WW than Brook when he shut out and even hurt Maidana.
Really what has Brook done to earn all this praise? He's beat a bunch of bums? I mean the two times he has stepped up his competition he has struggled against an journeyman in Carson Jones.
This is just becoming laughable.

I'm not trashing Alexander's record, just pointing out he hasn't fought a big WW (apart from shot Bailey) - the focus on size and power not on level of opponent.
And looks good when hes fresh? Maybe it has more to do with him fighting bums and looking great and then when he steps up to fight the mighty Carson Jones hes pushed to the limit.

It was rather easy.
