At WW I think so. Maidana doesn't look like a fully-fledged WW to me.

Could be right, especially in speed of the power punches. maidana hits hard enough to get Brook's attention though.

Brook is a talented fighter he just doesn't have the resume to back it.

Struggled He dropped him twice and virtually shut him out. Jones had some success and got through with a few shots, it happens.

If the September opponent is Maidana or Broner I'll take any bets, Brook shuts them both out.
Like I have said I imagine Maidana looks pretty impressive fighting what Brook has through this point of his career. Talent wise Brook is miles above Chino, but that doesn't means hes better.

And yes, he did impress at times tonight, but he struggled a lot of times in rounds 4-7. Maybe it was all stamina that hurt him tonight, but maybe not. Jones got through again in this fight in the middle rounds and landed some good shots. If a Maidana could do that Brook would have been in some big trouble.

Yes he is better then brook, so far he has proved it. Beating guys like Karass and Lopez is lightyears ahead of what Brook has done, which is struggle and gas against Jones in their first fight. And that says a lot that a gate keeper/journeyman like Maidana has done so much better. People are so brain washed by 0's in fighters records.

Yeah, if Brook doesn't fix his stamina issues I can see Maidana grinding him down and stopping him.

Maidana isn't a gatekeeper/Journeyman, he headlines shows or Co Main events shows.

He was a top 5 at LWW and is a top 10 at WW.

Maidana is a bum, the most overrated fighter of this generation. Quite laughable how favoured he was on here to not only K.O Khan but walk through Alexander lol
Hes a bum then he beats some bums who belong at 140 and all of a sudden he beats this guy and that guy. Face it, the rubbish quitter in Ortiz is the best win he'll ever have.
If you are claiming that Maidana and Bailey, even with limited time at WW, are worse than all the bums Brook has faced then I don't know what to tell you because you are clearly not dealing in logic or facts.

And I really don't get the Chino hate because his wins against Sotto Karass and Lopez are much better than anything Brook's oppents have faced. I will give you he wasn't a full fledged WW when Devon fought him.

That must be what you're looking at, if you think someone is a moron for saying Marcos is better. Or you've never seen Brook fighter, especially Jones 1

I know me and you have butt heads in the past on things, but I am glad to see we are on the same page on this one.

I get it, Brook has a lot of talent and can be special, but so have a ton of guys who have bottomed out.

Maidana has proved a ton more than Brook, who honestly hasn't proven really anything beyond he can go undefeated on the slightly above domestic level.
