    Excuses

Excuses and more excuses. The real truth is that Arum, Golden Boy etc know that the Cuban finest school is the best of the world. They spend a lot of money making ****** fighters and they don't want that the Cubans destroy their investments. They blocked and humiliate with poor paychecks the Cubans. In their divisions there are no fighters like Gamboa, Erislandy Lara and Rigondeaux. The worst thing for you guys whi hate and envy the Cubans is that so many of they are coming. There are a lot more who will put the ****** puching bag Mexicans, phillipines etc in theur proper place. Nonito is nothing, Canelo is hiding from Lara from 2 years now. They believe that hiding those fighters will be old but so many of others are coming. Know the Cubans are taking there place in baseball and boxing. Please stay aside and see the real ones showing you guys who are the best in tradition. When phillipines and Mexicans where Indians playing with archs Cubans were champions and now there coming again.

with the likes of provo/bradley, rios/alvarado, GGG... i can totally see HBO saving their budget on more "exciting" fights. unless rigo can SELL fights, they will brush him under the rug.

broner & floyd are the PERFECT examples. "boring" fighters need "exciting" personas to sell...

rigo is a "boring" fighter, and has a "boring" persona. how do you sell this guy? on skills alone? sadly, thats not the boxing business.
Nobody saw bradley/provo being what it was so your theory goes out right there.

HAHAHA. indeed. arum is butthurt. totally understandable. he was marinating donaire for YEARS... put him on the backburner waiting for the pac hype to die down. finally, 'nito was starting to have REAL starpower: top 5 p4p, charismatic, exciting KOs, on the cusp of fame....then rigo ruins everything. LOL

sucks.... think about the payday rigo got with donaire. you KNOW he wasnt getting that much before. so basically arum overpaid rigo AND lost his next cash cow. yikes.

Thank God HBO finally stands up against boring boxers. They spent millions of dollars in the Donaire/Rigo fight. What they got in return was a non-stop booing. It was embarrassing.

Could have been more exciting if Nonito hadnt been running in the final round and stood there and traded. But i guess its ok for him to do it

If boxing fans balk at Rigo's fighting style and don't care to see him fight, what more casual fans of the sport?

The truth is Rigo's style is just plain boring for a fight game. You just don't expect two people to fight and one is just running and running and punching sometimes. I could bear Floyd but I could not for a moment bear rewatching any of the Rigo-Donaire "fight". Too boring. In fact, it was so boring I don't think it brought out the best in Donaire.

I wonder if Rigo can sue Arum for the **** he is spewing. I can't think of any other situation where you can hire someone to help your business and they openly try to hurt your ottom line. Arums job is to promote his fighters. In other words find what makes a fighter good and highlight those traits when speaking about the fighter in public, sell him. He seems to be doing the opposite "nothing to see here", at the very least I would think this should be some sort of breech of contract.

Arum had not done badly until he made those public remarks. He should have kept his remarks private and stayed off camera. How hard was that?

I don't understand why rigo gets the heat from the ones who consider his fight with donaire was "boring", after all it was donaire who was afraid to engage because he was getting popped every time he tried.
