    5. huge workrate

You find a guy like Paulie. Or at least Guerrero
rios is none o these things except workrate.

bottom line is Manny fans are trying to have it both ways-you say Manny needs to look good and bob wants to maximize the potential of the china market. Cool, I get that and those are logical business reasons that make complete sense.

But to then argue that rios can test manny or make a close fight or "war" is bull****. Rios isn't a live dog and he wasn't given this fight because he can provide a stern test.

My thing is, if Pac is a ATG, one of the greatest ever you can't treat him like a average boxer.

When Roberto Duran lost, EACHTIME he fought stiff competition coming back.
Now i'm only holding Pacquiao to that level because the MEDIA and his fanbase compare him to ATG's such as Duran.

I basically think Pacquiao is better than the credit that his fanbase is giving him.
To me it's pretty much Pacfans trying to protect Pac from taking another loss.

Pacquiao offered the fight to both Bradley and Marquez. His options after they turned it down were limited.

So he chose RIOS??? Dude is a bloated 140 fighter and a fat one that.
          D class at best..coming off a loss.
          No defense
          Overrated punching power

Pacquiao being the star that he is should have came to Arum like, I will wait it out for Brad and Marquez..or say I was a specific GBP fighter.

Arum was happy to offer Rios..He actually already beat Rios when he beat Margarito, talk about Broner and Mayweather, but Rios and Margarito fight EXACTLY the same.

The ignorance of those who say Rios is an easier fight than Alvarado. How is it that Alvarado is put up so high on the "boxer" pedestal when his boxing style looks much inferior to that of Cotto? He adopted a boxer style so Rios won't be able to knock his ass out again. Alvarado is no Bradley or Marquez in terms of boxing skills why do people even think Pacquiao will find Alvarado a more difficult foe than Rios? Pacquiao couldn't be outboxed by Cotto, clearly outclassed the boxer Bradley--a different Bradley than the one we saw against Prov!. Pacquiao was even beating one of the best boxers on all rounds until he got flattened with a steroid powered punch.

Be rational folks, the hate is clouding your insights too much. On the contrary, if Pacquiao's chin has not fully recovered from the Marquez defeat then choosing Rios would surely have been a dumb choice as Rios is definitely the bigger puncher of the two.

Sorry, not buying into the Rios hype lol.
Stop trying to make Rios out better than he is, dude is D Class at best.

But to be fair to Pacquiao, it was always Bob Arum's plans to put him in the ring with Rios rather he or Rios lost or not.

I don't know if they are worried he loses bcause IMO he beats Mike. Its that he won't look like the old manny.

Manny's popularity is in large part because he KGTFO. TR gets that. They don't want to risk another SHane fight-yeah manny won easy but he didn't look great. Same reason the zahir raheem or nate campbell fights weren't made-its not that manny might lose its that he wont look good.

You are right, so they get someone custom made for Mannys style?

So Pacquaio should sit on the sidelines and not fight/earn money?

                    Ok then....

Fighters do it all the time, wait for the winners to be decided.
Pac can do whatever he wants though, if his fans support this fight that's all that matters DIRK lol.
