but rios-who moves less than Mike and hasn't sparred with Manny and doesn't know his tendencies-gets the fight. just so happens his style gives manny the best chance to look good and win.

    Coincidence, I think not.

WHat you wont admit is rios will stand and trade and not move, which everyone knows increases manny's chances to win.

There is no fear rios is going to win so to argue he's a tougher fight makes no sense.
Pacquiao does not stand there and trade. He jumps in, out, sidesteps. Rios hounds you and is a great inside fighter, slips punches better than given credit for. Alvarado did not beat him by going toe to toe. Neither has a chance against Pacquiao but I prefer to see the Rios challenge. I've seen too many guys simply collecting a paycheque against Pacquiao.

Boxing isn't running. We get it. Bob wants an easy fight for manny where he gets a huge KO. We agree.

Just stop with the rios is a tough fight stuff.

They did want an easy fight but Floyd won't budge...

SO a guy who boxes manny, makes him work, and tries to win is, by your definition, simply collecting a paycheck.

But the guy who will stand right in front of him and punch is a challenge. ok.

Question, if manny is jumping in and out and sidestepping, when will rios get to unleash his vaunted inside game?

It's not a tough fight if Pac is near 100%. But if he's gunshy, it's beyond risky, he may well get retired.

Alvardo would fight Pacquiao the same way he won against Rios. Pacquiao would have to run him down the same way he ran down Bradley. That was a boring fight. Do I want to see something like that again? If YOU do, hey, send a note to Arum.

Rios is the more marketable fight and yes his style suits Pacquaio.

But stop trying to paint Mike Alvarado as some slick mover just because he boxed a little against Rios. It's ***ing laughable but I know what your agenda is.

I always thought alvarado had belt but there are so many maybe he has sone silver or something. But fine then how about the winner or at least a fighter not coming off a loss.

you skipped the question. if manny is jumping in and out and sidestepping, when will rios get to unleash his vaunted inside game?

Bradley had a sprained/fractured ankle. Manny surely wasn't running him down. You don't want to see it because you are not sure manny will win looking good.
