Yes rigo doesnt have a tv friendly style but god damn i swear i have watched winky wright, hopkins, vernon forrest for years on hbo and they didnt have a problem...

I'm calling bs on him trying to get Gamboa vs Crawford done too. That's a lie. Me personally I'm not too high on Crawford yet n even if I was I wouldn't favor him in this 1. Gamboa looked short n didn't impress in his LW debut but I think he can turn it up on someone in the ring in the blink of an eye. Cotto vs Delvin in Florida isn't exactly drawing a good crowd. Especially if Crawford is the co main event vs TBA. Smh

The commentators give him all the credit in the world during fights. I don't remember hearing most those excuses from HBO. I know Lampley or someone was hard on him a week or so ago, but then Kellerman balanced that with hype.

That's not how Ken Hershman rolls. He's having Geale vs Barker for crying out loud you think anyone in the states cares? Nope, but Hershman is about giving guys exposure regardless of ratings. Rigo is clearly one of the most talented fighters on the planet. This is Bobs excuse of making other fights like Donaire vs Darch instead of Rigondeaux vs Donaire rematch or even Rigondeaux vs Darch.


Until HBO states they dont "want" Rigo, I consider this complete BS by Arum.

I would also seek legal council if I were Rigondeaux because its clear his promoter does not have his best interests at hand and should see if there is a legal way to get out of his contract.

I don't want to hear people say "Rigo is boring " either if you cant appreciate the Sweet Science go watch UFC. Further, Mayweather wins his fights more or less like Rigondeaux does and hes the most watched boxer in the world despite being "boring".

he just made 750k. Mares with 3x the credentials fought for 375, and has never made close to 750k. How does that jive with your theory?
