Can't believe all these folks picked Maidana in the poll. When Broner wins I bet more than half of those guys will say well Broner was suppose to win and that (insert name here) will beat him.

I'll give broner credit if he does win but he is getting hurt, dropped and stopped this Saturday night.

Broner gets tagged in fights honestly. He has just been lucky that he has been facing smaller, weaker opponents up until now. Even Paulie gave him a good run for his money and said that Broner doesn't hit hard for a 147 pound fighter.

Maidana may be slower than Broner but he has fought with the best in the world and has a very impressive KO rating and despite what some people say about him, he has advanced a great deal as a boxer imo. Broner will definitely land some shots, especially early on but he will be in the ring with a guy that hits harder by far than anyone he has ever faced before. Also, Maidana has never been stopped so all this talk about Broner stopping him is not based on anything substantial at all considering Broner couldn't take Paulie out...a guy that has been stopped several times before.

Broner looks like a superstar in the first 2 rounds or whatever, then he gets tagged more and more with each passing round until he gets dropped or is holding on for dear life trying to last the distance. Maidana by stoppage in rounds 9-12 or a Broner SD.

''It's a great challenge and that's what's we're up to. We love to train hard, we love to upset the world. You can't win them all, but I think Chino has a great chance to win it off.
(We had) Great training camp. The last day of sparring he gave me the best sparring I ever seen in him and if he's able to fight the way he sparred, then I have no doubt that we will beat Broner.''

I'm pretty sure I read they were giving out free tickets for the Canelo fight too. Could be wrong tho. My memory isn't too good.
