Maidanna's WW run is better than Demarco's whole career. His wins over Lopez and Karass are better than anything Demarco has done in his career.

Maidana is not that good, I'm not a fan of him at all but he's leagues better than Demarco. And they have polar opposite styles and attributes. Only thing they really compare in is the fact they're both slow.

I think Broner's inevitably going to touch him but what will he do if Maidana walks through him? Could be interesting. We all knew DeMarco had no chance in hell of walking through him and even if he did (Impossible) he had nothing to trouble him with if he did manage to.

Lopez and Karass hit Maidana, everyone can hit Maidana but just because you can hit him doesn't mean you can beat him or have an easy time with him. He stopped both impressively better than anyone (That's their size) has been able to. There's only one guy that's had an easy time with Maidana with very little trouble and that's Alexander and that's mainly due to the fact he tied him up every time he got close and that's something Broner hasn't shown me he can do in any of his fights.

Most of the time he blocks these shots or evades and counters but if he isn't hurting Maidana when he lands then Maidana will just keep coming forward hopefully using the jab more to set up his right hand.

Call me foolish but i believe Maidana wins if Broner can't hurt him or if he stands still too much like he always seems to do in past fights, it might be early or it might be late but at some stage Maidana catches him with something big, hurts him, drops him and then finishes him.

If Broner wins, especially if he dominates him then i'll give him props and admit i was wrong about him, i don't think he should be fighting at 147 so i'll have to wait and see if i'm right on DEC14th.
don't let the paulie fight fool you. broner has a great right hand and has real power. paulie had a great plan and rarely got hit flush. + he has a great chin. I think there's a good chance that the brawling may play into broners favor more, who's more naturally gifted.

we'll have to see, i do think it's kind of silly to compare demarco, or the other bums broner fought below 147 to maidana. we'll see what both fighters are made of on dec. 14

They're both slow and both very wide with their punches as well, making Broner's straight right counter a big weapon. I think Maidana can take it to the head, but to the body, he seems to have a weakness for body shots.

It won't be a 12-0 decision, but I think after it's over it'll be very clear who the better fighter is. I would love for that to be Maidana, but I just can't see it. Maybe I'm severely underrating and if I am, I'll eat my crow Can't be half as bad as Garcia-Matthysse aftermath was.

Wide UD for Broner. He should do whatever he wants against Marcos. But this will be a good fight to see how good his chin is if Marcos can land enough clean shots.

His use of the jab and movement have been the most significant improvements for me personally. Garcia has definitely had an impact on him.

What a great night of boxing this Saturday night for real, exciting stuff.

I like both fighters but MM is too raw to beat Broner. That said, it'd be wicked for the WW division if MM won.
