There's going to be a mass depression when Maidana is lying on the canvas from a body shot, head shot combo.

Broner will KO Maidana or wreck him bad. It won't be close. And I absolutely despise Broner: but Maidana is miles below him in class and talent.

This is how I see it. I loath AB, but he's too good to lose to Marcos Maidana. Same way he was way too good to lose to Antonio DeMarco. Both too wide and aggressive, it plays right into his hands.

Expect body work early and hard straight counters all night from Broner. He'll lose eventually, just not going to be Saturday unfortunately.

If broner puts maidana on the canvas and keeps him there I will eat my crow and admit broner is the real deal, because EVERYTIME maidana has ever tasted the canvas hes always got back up.

I'm expecting Broner to win, but I'm hoping Maidana can pull it off.

I don't think that's a good comparison because whilst Maidana is certainly limited and overrated for the most part he's a lot better than DeMarco and brings a lot more to the table.

One of the main one's being power.

Maidana is better than DeMarco, but I question how much better based on his WW run. JSK and Lopez are decent wins and all, but he was getting touched pretty easily by both who decided to have toe to toe slugfests with him.

Broner isn't close to Mayweather in the defense department, but he's better than Lopez and JSK.

Its not even the potential lack of power which gives me hope for Maidana, its broner's lack of running, holding and activity which all 3 of those cause MM problems. Broner gets close and sometimes doesn't even throw more than 1 punch at a time and then he covers up allowing his opponents chances to throw back.

Most of the time he blocks these shots or evades and counters but if he isn't hurting Maidana when he lands then Maidana will just keep coming forward hopefully using the jab more to set up his right hand.

Call me foolish but i believe Maidana wins if Broner can't hurt him or if he stands still too much like he always seems to do in past fights, it might be early or it might be late but at some stage Maidana catches him with something big, hurts him, drops him and then finishes him.

If Broner wins, especially if he dominates him then i'll give him props and admit i was wrong about him, i don't think he should be fighting at 147 so i'll have to wait and see if i'm right on DEC14th.
