Maidana won't cooperate with this expectation. They tried the same thing with him when they tried to feed him to Ortiz

I thought Maidana won a title eliminator?, Didn't the WBA actually order this fight or did Broner just pick him?.

Either way broner isn't fighting Litzau,Rodriguez,Perez,Escobedo, Rees or even De Marco or Paulie. he is fighting a Hard hitting WW who isn't a midget and will at least give Broner a fight or even KO him.

I'm thinking Golden Boy is picking Maidana for a reason. He is slow on his feet and has slow hands. He will have moments with his activity and body punching, but I don't see him being able to land a significant punch through Broner's guard. I see a close decision win, maybe even late KO.

I just can't get over how bad Maidana looked against Alexander. Clinching or not, he lost every round. Broner is also very capable boxing inside. He's going to work Maidana's body over and over. By the late rounds he might even catch him.

Broner is overrated. He hasn't faced the level of competition that Maidana has. He also underestimates Maidana, I think. Furthermore, Broner doesn't bring his power up to welterweight, while Maidana is a natural power puncher @ welterweight. Maidana is going to put some heat on Broner that he has never felt before. I'm looking forward to watching Marcos beat some respect into him.

                Broner will win.

I'm thinking he will stop Maidana in the 7th to 9th rounds.

Is ponce de leon fast on his feet and have fast hands?? Broner is no defensive wizard as much as everyone tries to paint him as one. Andre berto 2.0 in the making.
