As for Haye how many times has he retired? He also, by his own choice, fights once a year so how many doors can he possibly be knocking on?
No, what I'm saying is that if these guys were good enough to fight the heavyweight champion of the world, then surely a top 5 rated guy is good enough to fight David Haye.

Couldn't care less about how many times he's retired, even though it's just one. I don't see how that falls into this conversation?

Peter was no bum, either. Some people on here were backing him to KO Wlad.
      So is Audley Harrison.

David Haye is a silver medal world champion, but you dismiss him as a fraud all the time.

I would back Fury to beat Povetkin.

Does Fury want 80 percent still?

I haven't once said Haye is a bum, or that he lacks technical ability. He is fast, has power and has, what I believe to be, a v. good and underused jab.

Povetkin KOs Fury, IMO. Fury has been lucky. It's decision time - does he cash in against Haye and rebuild, or risk being KOd by a real HW 'bum' further down the line.

I have no problem with Haye and Fury fighting each other but who has Fury ranked in the top 5? My point with Haye was that you want us to believe that fighters are somehow ducking him. When he was retired or threatens to retire when he does not get his way and fights once a year. So, I will ask again who is ducking a fighter that fights an average of one fight a year? A fighter who also has had a habit of pulling out of fights in the not so distant past.

The WBO. You're right though, he's not top 5 (yet anyway).

You call Haye a fraud on literally every thread. I didn't say you called him a bum. And btw, just because you are a great amateur doesn't mean you are a great pro. Essentially, they are two very different sports.

Audley Harrison is a prime example.

I reckon Fury would do well with 4-5 more fights in the top 5-15 ranked pool. I don't think he has the experience for top level yet, and I'm confident he would win most fights.

Who would you rather see Haye fight?

IBF and WBO. Think he's #6 by WBC as well. I'm not saying he's a boxrec top 5, but he's ranked quite highly by the bodies which would help Haye a lot. Btw, go and look at the Haye-Fragomeni post fight interview. If i'm not mistaken Haye mentioned he would retire at 31 in that. It was his plans all along - I doubt he'd thought of Klitschko in 2006.

As I said in the previous post, I didn't mean ducking as in running scared. But pricing yourself out of a fight is a way of ducking as well and that happens a lot. Haye gave an interview on that after Charr was made.

Pulev went another way, wawrzyk went another way. Vitali doesn't want it - and most others were busy.

Fury would have been KOd by Chambers.

He'd likely have been KOd by shot-to-**** Rahman, too.

Chambers really? Is that a joke?

I'm not a big fan of Fury by any means, but you are making him way worse than what he is.
